Surfing Sligo

"I cannot wait to surf Nico. It's perfect today.", I said. "Yes, it's windy and the sun is shining." "Where is Shane, it's 10am." "Hi guys. I'm ready to learn surfing." "Hi Shane, let's go."
Strandhill was the paradise for surfing. We got our surfboard and suit and went to the beach. "Ok guys, first I will see how you surf. I have big respect for the waves." "I will go first.", I said. "Yeahhh, wuhuuu.", I screamed. I had a lot of fun. "She is good.", Shane said to Nico. "We learned to surf when we were five." "I learned riding horses when I was five.", Shane laughed. I came back and hung a towel around me. "Ok, Nico. Now it's your turn."
"You are good in surfing Sophia. I hope I learn it." "Sure. I will show you how to surf and you'll show me how to ride a horse,  okay?!" "Okay." We gave us the hands. "Yeahhh, Nico common.", I screamed. Nico came back after a few minutes.  "Ok Shane.  First try to stand on the board." "Is that right?" "Yes that's good. And now I'll show you some moves you need when you're in the water." While I showed Shane how to sit or knee on the board I touched him., what gives me many shivers. "You're learning fast.", Nico said. "Thanks." "Now we can try it here, the waves are not so high. The best is you kneel or sit on the board.  I will go with you into the water." "Ok, I'll try it." The first wave came and Shane was under the water. "Are you ok?" "Yes, I'll try again." The wave came and Shane was on the board. "I got it.", Shane screamed. "Yeahhm that was good." The next wave came and Shane was again on the board. "That's real fun. But I think it's enough for me today." I run to him out of the water. "You're  talented. I'm proud of you." I hugged him, took his face between my hands and kissed him quick. He looked surprised.  "Sorry, that was usualness." "Why sorry? I like this usualness.", he smiled. Then I run to Nico. "Sophia, was that a kiss?", he whispered. "Yes, but is was usualness." He smiled at me. "Do you like him?" Maybe a little bit." A little bit?" I smiled.  "Maybe a little bit more than a little bit." I whispered.

In the afternoon I went with Shane and his horse to the beach. Nico was in the cottage. "Do you want to sit alone on the horse or should I sit behind you the first minutes?" "If it's ok sit behind me." "Ok, so first make friend with him. His name is Fynn." "Hi Fynn, I'm Sophie." He snuffled at me. "Ok, I'll help you up." Shane touched my back and legs to help me up,  then he got up on the horse.  His arms were around my hip holding the bridle reins. I felt Shanes breath in my neck. "Go Fynn", he said and we rode slowly along the beach. Then I felt one hand on my hip and for one moment I couldn't breathe. "Do you think you can try it now alone?" "Yes" Shane got down from the horse and I sat alone in the saddle. "Ok Sophia, take the bridle reins and say go Fynn." "Go Fynn." I rode alone.  I really rode alone. "Look Shane,  I'm riding.", I laughed.  "Yes, very good." Then I stopped it. Shane helped me to get down from the horse. "You were great.", he said and kissed me quick. He saw my look. "Sorry, that was usualness.", he laughed. "Why sorry, I like this usualness.", I twinkled. Then we both laughed.

Back in the cottage my brother saw me smiling. "Sophia, are you ok?" "Yes, he kissed me. It was usualness.", I grinned. "To see you happy is the best thing since a long time. Where is Shane now?" "He's back at home. He has to go to work the rest of the week.  But on Saturday he is in the pub again." "Ok, I cooked for us. Sit down. Spaghetti with tomatoe sauce. And now tell me all about the horse riding."
