Tell me what you think ;)

Right after War World 2.
"Alright, sign here and here." Father signed the papers that said we were adopting a teenage girl from Germany. She has been rescued from a concentration camp. She has lived the past three years in different ones. They people who run the orphanage she's in won't show us a picture of her because she refuses to let them. I can't imagine what she would look like after three years over there. She's not a Jew but was accused of stealing. The people didn't have any solid proof but they were a higher class than her. So, they won the trial and she was sent to a concentration camp.
"When will she be here?" Mother asked.
"Her boat will arrive in two weeks," the fat man behind the desk said and Father nodded. "We will sent her to your home with one of the workers her."
"Alright, is that all?" The man nodded.
"Yes, Mr. Ingler, that is all." We stood up and shook his hand before leaving.
Auberon's POV
I woke up in a hospital bed and frowned. Was there selection earlier today or am I dreaming of the voices in the hallway. I look around and see how nice it looks. It is a dream, I am still in a camp. It is too nice to be real. Suddenly a doctor walks in in a nice suit. "Hello, Auberon, how are you felling today?" he asked.
"This is a dream," I said, "I will wake up soon. I will be back in the camp. With the others. Without my family." He sighed and sat on my bed.
"Has your mother ever told you to pinch yourself if you think something is a dream?" he asked and I nodded.
"Yes, many times." He nodded and pinched my arm. I cried some and he quickly took his hand away.
"Did that hurt?" I nodded. "Then this is not a dream." I thought about it then nodded.
"Your right, this isn't a dream, I'm not sleeping." He smiled and nodded. "This is hell! My family is dead! Murdered!" He sighed and some nurses came in. One ran her finger through my hair and said soothing things while the others grabbed some needles. "You said they wouldn't give me anymore." I looked up at the chubby nurse that was combing my short red hair with her fingers.
"I said they wouldn't if you behaved," she said and one of the nurses came over with the needle.
"I'll behave, I promise." I hugged the woman and waited for the pain if the needle, but it never came.
"Swear?" she asked and I nodded.
"I swear." I felt her nod and heard the others leave.
"Let's eat." She put a tray in front of me. There was a small glass of water, little chunks of apples, some bread, a little meat, and chocolate pooding. "Eat until your full." I nodded and ate some bread and meat. I took a piece of apple and licked it. It has been so long since I've had an apple. It tastes delicious. I put the piece in my mouth and slowly chewed, enjoying the flavor. After I ate the bread, meat, some of the apples, and drank the water. She took the tray. "Alright, Dr. Kemal will be here in a little bit to make sure your ready to be moved to your new foster parents." I pulled my blanket closer to me when she said doctor. She noticed and hugged me. "He is a nice doctor, he won't hurt you," she said. "He'll just make sure your able to be up and about." Hesitantly, I nodded and she took the tray out. I laid in bed until an American soldier came in with Dr. Kemal.
"Good morning, Auberon, how are you this morning?" he asked as he gathered some things.
"Who's he?" I asked and he looked at the soldier.
"That is James, if your able to leave, he will take you and some others to America." I nodded and he walked over to me. He checked to see if I was alright then nodded. "You may leave if you want." I nodded and the nurse came back in with a dress. Dr. Kemal walked out and she helped me up. I stopped her from taking off the hospital gown and she frowned at me. I pointed to James and she looked.
"Get out," she hissed and he left. "Sorry about that, dear, I didn't know he was in here." I nodded and let her help me into the dress. It flowed to the middle of my shins and was big on me.
"Do you have anything smaller?" I asked when the breeze from the window made the dress lift some.
"No, dear, that's the smallest we have," she said then helped me into some socks and shoes. She walked me over the to long mirror on the wall. I frowned at my reflection. I was very skinny and pale. My, once long and beautiful, hair was only a couple inches long and was a very dull red. My brown eyes looked dead and haunted. I walked back to the bed and sat down. "Dear, are you ready to go?" she asked and I nodded.
"Yes." She took to the hospital waiting room. James stood there with six other people who looked a little younger than me.
"Ready?" James asked and I nodded.
"Yes." I hugged the nurse then left with James and the others. I never really learned her name because when I first came here, I couldn't talk to any one. So I ignored her whenever she tried to talk to me. And now I'm leaving her. She took food care of me. I planned on coming back to visit her but I will never get the chance to thank her. She'll die of a heart attack in two weeks.
James took us to a boat that went to America. There were many survivors and American soldiers on it. James explained to us that each of us would have a soldier with us when we meet our foster parents. James would be with me.
