I was taken by a snake

Almost Slytherin

Hermione's pov

I woke up as we arrived to Hogwarts. Draco was still asleep. I heard a loud snore from the other side of the train car. Harry must have taken the silencing charm off of Ron. I looked up at Draco who was smiling in his sleep. I shook his shoulders softly.

     "Draco. Draco wake up," I whispered. He stirred a bit and slowly opened his eyes. They were almost silver.

     "Hm? Oh I guess ~yawn~ I fell asleep," he smiled. His voice was raspy. I felt my face flush just hearing him talk. "Something wrong Hermione?" He asked. I blushed even more hearing him say my name with that raspiness.

     "N-no I'm fine," I stuttered out. He smiled then frowned as we heard a boorish snore. I felt a smirk grow on my face. "Watch this," I whispered  I walked over to Ron. "RON THERE IS A SPIDER IN YOUR HAIR!" I shrieked in the most panicked voice I could muster. Ron jumped up with a shriek. I laughed so hard I snorted. I quickly covered mouth as my face reddened. Draco looked over at me and smiled.

     "That prank was almost Slytherin material, but your laugh was too adorable," he said. His cheeks grew red. I felt my face heat up even more.

      We walked out of the train together. My hand dangled by my side. I felt a larger yet soft hand intertwine with mine. I looked up at Draco who was blushing furiously. I smiled and walked with him to the carriages.

     "What are these creatures pulling the carriages. I always thought they pulled themselves." Draco asked. I smiled.

     "These are Thestrials. You can only see them if you have seen someone die." I replied. Draco looked down.

     "I saw too many people die during the war. Some of those deaths needed to happen though," he said. He looked down at his feet. I gripped his hand.

     "Draco. I don't know your reasoning for what you did, but I can see that you've changed." I reassured him. He looked up at me and smiled.

     Before the feast began McGonagall gave a speech.

     "Before we begin, we will have a moment of silence for all the students, no matter what side, that were lost during the Battle of Hogwarts. " The hall was filled with silence.

     "Thank you. There are plaques honoring the students lost from each house outside the dorms. Thank you all for coming back. May we have a great year. For the eighth year students returning this year, you all will share a dorm. No matter what house. Have a great feast!" She smiled and everyone began eating.

      After we finished, Harry, Draco, and I walked up to the dorm together. It was right next to the room of requirement. I looked at the two boys.

     "Get all the eighth year students together at this spot. We are having a party. "
