"The inheritance for each of your siblings and cousin is 100 million dollars," he says in a monotone voice.

"Excuse me? There must be a mistake, my nana lived in a small and tun down cottage house with a crappy car, there's no way she had that much!" I explain to the lawyer.

"I'm afraid your mistaken miss," he says as he re-scans the will, "your Grandmother had $500 million in her savings."

I stare in awe at the man in front of me, this must be a dream. It had to be. Nana never had anything expensive, ever.

"But she did leave very strict instructions as how to get your inheritance, almost like, rules. Before you get the money." He explains.

"Rules?"

"Yes. Rules."

"I don't understand," I say in confusion as I try to proses the info he gave me, "what kind of rules are they?"

He hands me an envelope and says calmly, "your Grandmother wanted you, your siblings, and your cousin to go on a summer long Cruise, already picked out, payed for, and chosen, but on the cruise you all have a task, or multiple tasks, that you are required to do over the summer."

"And if we don't complete the tasks? Then what? You wont give us our inheritance?" I ask in disbelief.

"That is correct Miss. Kings, the money for you would be split among the heirs that completed their tasks."

"Typical Nana." I mutter under my breath.

****

"This is bull sh*t!" My younger sister, Jess groans.

"This is typical Nana, making us work for what's already ours," My older brother Chris says as he scans the unopened envelope.

"Have you opened your yet Kate?" My sister Nicole asks me in her usual quiet voice.

My name is Katelyn Kings, but I go by Kate. I am 29 years old and I was very close with my Nana. My parents passed away when I was young, so my Nana practically raised me and my siblings. I was always told I looked like my Nana with my light curly brown hair, my soft heart face shape, freckles all over my nose, and my defined hour glass body shape. I was the only one out of all my siblings to look like my Nana, my two younger 25 year old twin sisters, Jess and Nicole, with their natural blonde highlights streaking throughout their long and dark brown hair, their perfectly cut cheekbones and jaw, flawless skin and their more thin and less curvy body, which made them look nothing like my Nana. And my 30 year old brother Chris doesn't look even close to any of us. He happens to have naturally blonde slicked back hair, a sharply cut jaw line, a tall build figure, and piercing green eyes, compared to me and my sisters dull brown eyes.

And then there's my cousin, also known as the devils b*tch. But since that name is 'Inappropriate' and 'rude', her name is Edith. She's a snobby only child who can get mommy and daddy to do whatever she pleases. She has dyed red hair to cover up her 'dull and boring brunette features', her words, not mine. She's got light brown eyes, a blindingly white smile that makes any guy weak in the knees if they haven't seen her with out the 'lil' miss perfect' mask on, and has a stick figure with her breast implants, making her look awkward and weird without having any hips or a*s.

"No, I thought I should wait so we could all open-"

"I'm never going to be able to do this!" Jess screams, cutting me off.

Let me just point out, just because Jess and Nicole are twins, doesn't mean their the same person. They are total opposites. Nicole being quiet, studious, and well put together, and Jess... well Jess is loud, an absolute party girl, slacker, and alcohol is her best friend.

"So much for that idea." Chris rolls his eyes and tears open his envelope.

I gently open my envelope and pull out the neatly folded paper inside.

-Dear Katelyn,

For the time I've been with you, you've made me so proud with everything you have accomplished so far, graduating collage, getting a good job, and finding the man of your dream that met your high expectations. And for your task, you must spend time with your fiancé. And at the last port, at the end of the summer, there will be an elegant wedding for you and your fiancé. I want you to be able to grow as close as you can to the lucky man of your dreams over the summer, so you can live happily ever after, just like you always told me you wanted too.

With love,

Your Nana.-

Oh no. No no no no no no no! This cannot be happening!

"Kate? You ok? You look a little pale." Nicole says as she puts a hand on my shoulder.

"I haven't told you guys something." I say quietly.
