5:40pm

Tsubasa was just about to get off work when she noticed that the light inside Akira's office was still on. She found it odd that the shades to his office window was closed shut, he was always strict about having to keep an eye on his employees. So she decided to go check if he was ok. Before she could open the door she heard him say, "Why didn't you bother calling me?"

Tsubasa didn't want to eavesdrop but she couldn't get herself to turn from the door. She then heard a female voice answer,"I-I was just really busy."

"Yea? Doing what?" Tsubasa listened as Akira demanded to know what the girl in the room was doing.

She realized that the girls voice was very familiar but she just couldn't remember who it was. Tsubasa decided that she didn't want to eavesdrop anymore, so she went back down the stairs and left a note on her office door.

When she got home she opened the door and went straight to lay on her bed. Then suddenly the door bell ranged. Tsubasa groaned as she got up from her bed and opened the door. Once the door was opened she saw Hiro standing there. He wore a black suit that wrapped nicely around his toned body, and his messy blonde hair was tangled free, but his left hand was wrapped in a bandage.

"Hiro? What brings you here?" Tsubasa asked shocked.

"May I come in?"

"Oh of course."

Tsubasa lead Hiro into her home closing and locking the door behind her. She watched as he sat down on the couch, she then followed and sat across from him.

"Tsubasa... would you mind if I took you out to eat?" Hiro spoke.

"Of course not *yawn* I wouldn't mind at all," Tsubasa answered forgetting about her manners.

Then Hiro started to chuckle.

"Why are you laughing?" Tsubasa said.

"You know it's just you look tired from work."

From his remark Tsubasa replied,"Me looking tired from work is funny?"

"No its just cute," Hiro said smiling.

"So are we going to eat or not?" Tsubasa said pouting.

"Ok, ok let's go eat," Hiro replied while holding his hands up in surrender.

Hiro took Tsubasa to a very nice but not to fancy restaurant. They both sat and ate, laughing about what they each did in their childhood. Hiro didn't want to ruin the moment by telling Tsubasa about the arrangements of his marriage. He didn't want to her to be sad or mad or even call herself names that were not true.

Eventually things went quiet until Hiro spoke, "hey?"

"Yea? What is it?" Tsubasa said while taking a sip of her drink.

"I'm sorry it has to be this way," Hiro whispered to her.

"What?"

"I really like u and I'm falling so hard for u but I don't have the courage to keep u, I'm sorry..."

"..." Tsubasa couldn't believe this she wanted to walk away from the table, but something kept telling her to wait for an explanation.

"Really Tsubasa I'm really sorry," Hiro said when he saw the look of disbelief.

"Why? Why can't u be with me?" Tsubasa spoke plainly.

"My parents... they *sigh* my parents made an arrange marriage without my consideration. I was so angry when I found out. I-"

"Hiro... is this why your hand is hurt?"

Looking at his left hand he clenched it into a fist, "Yea."

"So are you paying for the bill or am I?"

"I'll pay for it. Besides it's my treat," Hiro said quietly.

They were now walking up the path to her house. Once they entered Tsubasa's house she told Hiro to sit down. Once he did he saw Tsubasa dissappear into the bathroom. When she came back out she had a bandage and some ointment in her hand. Then she took a seat next to him and gently grabbed his hand.

"What are you doing?" Hiro asked.

"I'm changing your bandage," Tsubasa said smiling at him and then looking back to his hand.

Hiro could see the hurt in her eyes as she smiled at him. Then suddenly he felt something wet on his skin. He looked down to see that Tsubasa had stopped unwrapping his hand. He saw tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Tsubasa... please don't cry... don't cry for someone like me," Hiro said.

"I'm...*sniff* I'm almost done... just let me put on the ointment and the new bandage*sniff* ok?"
