Hiro let go of Tsubasa and she headed toward the door. To her surprise it was Akira. Looking back at Hiro she said, "you should really go now." He nodded and Tsubasa opened the door to let him out.
When the door opened Akira noticed someone was about to walk out so he took a step back. As Hiro walked out he didn't bother to look at the man standing by the door. Instead he walked out looking straight ahead.
Akira noticed the man that was walking out had a broken and sadden look in his eyes. But he didn't bother to ask because it wasn't his business. Just as he was about to enter the house, Tsubasa blocked his way.
"Akira... What brings you here?" She asked him kindly.
"I saw your note at the office," he replied.
"Oh... Okay come in."
"Thanks."
Walking into the house Tsubasa closed the door behind them. Sitting down where Hiro last sat, Akira sighed heavily. Bringing him some cold water Tsubasa gave him a sideways glance.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Rough business," Akira replied.
"Here."
"Thanks."
After taking a slip of water Tsubasa asked, "wanna vent to me? You know I'm always here for you."
"Yea I know, but its better for her to leave."
"Her?"
"Her name is Hana," Akira said while examining the glass of water.
Hana... Tsubasa thought for a moment. They couldn't be the same people right? She thought again.
"She's getting into an arranged marriage... It was planned awhile ago but she just told me now," Akira said unknowingly cutting off Tsubasa's thoughts.
"...I'm sorry," she said putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Its fine... I guess it just wasn't meant to be."
Sitting down across from him Tsubasa also sighed and chuckled saying, "yea? You're not the only one."
Putting down the glass of water he looked at Tsubasa confused. Then he remembered the man from before.
"Was he-"
"Yea... It was because of an arranged marriage too," she said cutting him off. Only out of the office could she ever cut him off.
"What was the girls name?" Akira questioned. It couldn't possibly be Hana could it? He thought.
"Her name... Is... Hana," Tsubasa told him while giving him a wiry smile.
"They couldn't possibly be the same people right?" Akira said confused.
"I hope not...," Tsubasa whispered.
Walking up to her, Akira sat down beside her and gave her a hug. Once his arms wrapped around her, tears welded up in her eyes. She couldn't control her emotions and let the tears fall onto his shirt.
"It's alright Tsubasa. You're a strong person, I know you are," Akira said trying to comfort her.
Laughing Tsubasa gently pushed Akira away while wiping her tears and replied with, "And here I thought that I was supposed to be comforting you."
Laughing as well Akira leaned on his back and looked at the ceiling.
"It's going to be a while before we begin to heal," He said suddenly.
"Love hurts," She remarked and looked at Akira.
"It's late and it's almost morning, sorry to keep you up. I'll take my leave now," Akira said standing up and letting himself out.
"Goodnight," He said and left.
Looking at the closed door She whispered goodnight even though he had already left.
