Chapter Twenty Eight

{The Last Chapter}

{Sequel Up called "When Sherlock Met Hel"}

Jane's Pov

"Sherlock!" I yelled loudly.

I watched her fall through the air

and finally heard her hit the ground but I couldn't see her. A smaller building blocked where she laid.

I tried running to her but the world seemed to be in slow motion. I screamed but yet couldn't hear my yells. My vision blurred and spun.

Suddenly someone is holding me back. I struggle to get out of their grip.

I need to go

I need to see her

I need to say...goodbye

Finally the person let go and I ran to her, "Sher!" I collapsed at her side as paramedics rushed to her. They tried to get me to move but I kept yelling, "She's my friend! Let me go!"

One woman took her pulse and shook her head.

No

No

She can't be dead...

They lifted her lifeless body onto a the gernie. I cried and cried and fought to reach her but someone held me back.

I whipped around and saw the black hair of Loki through my blurry vision, "You! It's your fault she's dead! It's all your fault!"

He let me cry into his shoulder and tried to comfort me the best he could.  I knew it wasn't really his fault. I just needed someone to blame. "She was my best friend..." I cried, "My best friend..."

"Don't worry," Loki said, determined,  "Jenny has her soul and I swear I will find her. Even if it's the last thing I do..."
