L's POV
I sat behind the glowing monitor when I heard the echo of a door snapping shut. I turned around to see Light Yagami, my number one Kira suspect, walking towards me. I couldn't help but notice the eyelash under his eye, making my eyes wander to his perfectly sculpted nose, down to his soft, pale lips, and his sharp jawline.
"Do I have something on my face?" Light's angelic voice awoke me from my trance, snapping my eyes to come into contact with his beautiful ones.
"Oh, yeah," I reached up and plucked the eyelash from his face, and held my thumb to his mouth, "make a wish," I said softly, and he closed his eyes and blew the eyelash away. His breath felt warm, yet cold at the same time.

Light's POV
"Make a wish," L spoke, his voice making me shiver. I closed my eyes and thought please don't let me be gay then blew on the eyelash. My lips accidentally touched L's thumb, and I tried not to reach up and touch them. They tingled where they'd touched the skin of my nemesis.

I sat down next to L, and spinned my chair slightly to the side, my hand reaching up to touch my lips, which were still slightly tingling. What is wrong with me, I thought, I shouldn't have these feelings for a man, let alone a man I plan to kill. I turned back around and asked, "So, I see you're not eating. What's wrong?" I asked, genuine concern coming through my voice.

L's POV
"What's wrong?" Light asked, emotion showing in his voice. What's that? Light Yagami, showing genuine concern for another human being? "Now that you mention it, Watari, could you bring me some sweets?"

Light's POV
Of course, L wants sweets. That's all he ever seems to eat. "You know, you don't seem to have a very balanced diet. It's not healthy, the way you eat. Even though you can keep up your good appearances, you could have heart problems. We wouldn't want that, would we?" Shit. Did I just call the man who suspects me of being a murderer cute?
"I suppose you're right. But, I've become accustomed to a particular diet. Any big changes, and my body could suffer drastically," L spoke, his voice as smooth as the chocolate Watari had just brought in.

I watched L's lips as he chewed the sweets, my ears picking up on the soft moans he let out as he was enjoying his favorite food. "Now, Light," well now I know him saying my name isn't helping my current situation, "Don't call me that," I interrupted him. "Oh, okay then," he said, "Now, Light-kun, in order to keep you under closer security, I'm going to handcuff us together," he went into his bag and brought out metal chains, still chewing on his chocolate. He caught me staring at his lips and asked, "Oh, do I have something there?" "No," I answered. "Do you want some sweets?" He asked. "Oh, um, no," I responded, my face growing hot. The raven-haired boy looked confused, and I got an idea.

L's POV
I looked up and saw Light staring at my mouth. "Oh, do I have something there?" I asked, wiping at my mouth. "No," Light responded, his face getting red, his light brown hair sweeping in front of his face. "Do you want some sweets?" I asked, confused. "Oh, um, no," the young boy answered, his face growing even more red. I looked at his face, confused why he was so embarrassed. "I just really like your face," Light mumbled.
What? He 'likes my face'? What's that even supposed to mean?
Light leaned over to me, so close I could feel his warm breath. My eyebrows furrowed together, "Light-" I started. "Shut up. Just let me try something," the young boy said. I admired his golden brown locks, gently hanging away from his face as he leaned forward. I looked down toward his eyes, so shiny and smooth like a body of water. He leaned forward just enough to let our lips connect slightly.
