"Her brother?" You asked, confused. "Yes, don't tell me they didn't even tell you!? Ashley is Josh's sister. Who do you think she was?" Jenna looked at you with a knowing smirk on her face. "I honestly didn't give it much thought. I assumed they were old friends or something." You lied. "Sure. I'm not saying you even want to know, but I'm just putting it out there; as far as Tyler and I know, Josh is still very much single. Anyway, I think it's about time to get to bed. Sleep tight and see you tomorrow." Jenna hugged you and went upstairs. You entered the guest bedroom, quickly undressing and jumping in bed, accidentally waking up Madison. "What are you smiling about? Are you drunk?" You heard her sleepy voice. "I'm not smiling that much. Nothings up. Go back to sleep." You answered her, trying not to smile so widely. Lying in bed, you attempted to sleep, but once again were preoccupied with thoughts about Josh. Just because he is single, does not mean you stand a chance you tried to convince yourself.

You sat down in the kitchen, thinking about your plan for the day. You had breakfast with Jenna and Madison and when Tyler got home Madison and you went home. Some of Madison's friends, who you met at the state fair, invited you both to a Cleveland Brown's game. But since you didn't really enjoy football and you had a bit of a hangover from the night before, you decided to stay at home. After assuring Madison you were alright staying home alone, she got ready and left, leaving early to drive to Cleveland with the group. I should probably assemble my wardrobe.

It took you about an hour to find the necessary tools in the garage. Then it took you another half an hour to find the instructions. "Okay, I can figure this out. Who even needs an instruction? How hard can it be?" You mumbled to yourself, connecting you phone to the speakers set up in the room, putting your Spotify playlist on shuffle. You laid out all the wooden planks trying to picture how they could possibly form a wardrobe together. After nearly two hours, you had built something some people may consider a wardrobe. You were sure the bottom part and the back part were correct, but all the drawers were askew and you were pretty sure you screwed the doors on upside down. While you were unscrewing the doors and removing the drawers, you heard a sound downstairs. "Hello?" You yelled, turning off the music.

"Hey y/n, it's just me. I wasn't sure if you were home." Tyler yelled back. "Yeah, I'm just trying to get my wardrobe ready. Madison went to Cleveland with her friends for the game tonight. Are you gonna work on your music? Do you want me to stop making noise?" You said, walking towards the stairs so you could see Tyler. "No, it's okay, go ahead. I'll have my headphones on anyway. Do you need help?" "No, I'll manage. I hope I'm done soon, then I'll make us something to eat. Did you come alone?" You couldn't help but ask. "Yeah, Josh is hanging out with Ashley, so I'm not sure he's even coming today. Great, let me know when the foods ready." He smiled and walked to the basement. You re-entered your bedroom, turned the music back on and went back to work.

You had finally managed to build the wardrobe. Deciding to eat something before you would start putting your clothes in, you went to the kitchen, making BLT sandwiches for you and Tyler. "Food's ready if you want some." You said to Tyler, entering the basement. He was seated in the far corner, surrounded by a pile of scrunched papers. "Great timing, I need a break." He said, standing up and following you to the kitchen. Between bites you talked with Tyler, just making conversation about different subjects. You were very comfortable around him, mostly because of his kindness and good conversational skills. Thankfully Josh wasn't really mentioned, since you were sure Jenna suspected something about your true feelings for Josh and most likely told Tyler about it and you didn't want to raise further suspicion. After cleaning up, Tyler went back to the basement and you went back upstairs, thinking of how to arrange your clothes. You decided to move the wardrobe to the other side of the room, so it wouldn't be next to your desk, making the room look too cluttered. You slowly lifted the wardrobe, thinking pushing it would mess up the carpet in the room. It was quite heavy, but you just managed to lift it up. Shuffling backwards the edge of the wardrobe bumped against your shin, causing you to drop the whole thing accidentally. It hit the ground and cascaded forward, right towards you. You jumped out of the way, only a split second to late, seeing the wardrobe come down on your right ankle and foot. Even though the landing wasn't as hard as you thought it would be, it still hurt and you screamed out in shock and pain. "Tyler!!!! Ouch! Come help me!" You yelled as loudly as you could, helplessly lying down on the floor, foot still stuck under the wardrobe. You soon heard footsteps on the stairs nearing you. "What happened?" "Are you okay?" "Should I call an ambulance?" you heard two voices from the hallway. "I'm okay, don't call an ambulance. I just dropped the fricking wardrobe on my foot and kinda need help. Oh, hi Josh." You sheepishly said. Why was he always there when you either looked like a mess, embarrassed yourself, or both? You thought, quickly wiping some tears from your eyes while they lifted the wardrobe from you.
