Finding Out

The show tonight went okay. I had a lot of nausea but not once did I have to throw up. Lindsey and I gave each other loving looks throughout the show but we didn't give the press much thought of us being in a relationship again. I rushed to my dressing room soon after we were cleared to go. I knew Lindsey was behind me so I kept the door open. He came in and closed the door then made his way over to me. I felt his arms wrap around me and I immediately relaxed. He bent down to my ear.

"Hey beautiful."

"Well hello Mr. Handsome." I sighed as he left open mouth kisses on my shoulder and neck.

"Are we ready to go home?"

"Mhm more than ever." He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the car.

Once we were in the car he took both of my hands in his and made me look at him.

"Baby I know something's up. You can tell me whatever it is."

"Lindsey, I'll tell you when we get home I promise."

And with that he dropped it but still held my hand all the way home. I had so many thoughts going through my head but I just couldn't wait to see what our fate was.

I ran up the stairs as soon as he opened the door for us. I tried to close the bathroom door but his foot was in the way.

"Steph are you ok....? Oh." His eyes were now on the pink box on the counter.

"I was going to tell you, but Lindsey I'm scared. I don't want to go through the same thing as last time." My mind brought back pictures from when Lindsey and I had been pregnant before. We were so happy then not even before the second trimester, I had a miscarriage. We were so devastated.

Tears were now flowing from my eyes as Lindsey held me tight.

"I'm afraid too baby. But we'll get through this together. I promise I won't leave this time."

"Do you really promise. Because I don't think I can handle you leaving me again."

He grabbed my shoulders and looked in my eyes.

"I'm serious Steph. I'm not leaving. No matter what happens. I love you."

"I love you too Lindsey. Please don't leave me." I pleaded again.

He put my face between his hands and kisses me. His kiss deepened when his tongue asked for entrance and I allowed him. He backed off as I caught my breath.

"Now do you believe me that I'm not going to leave you?" I nodded and bit my bottom lip. "I'm going to leave you in here for your privacy but I'll be back in ten minutes okay? It's going to be ok I promise. I love you." He kissed me again and went to close the door behind him.

I grabbed the box off the counter and almost ripped the box apart. I put both of them back on the counter when I was done. I could hear Lindsey rummaging around but I didn't move.

"Lindsey you can come in now." I knew he could hear me and he opened the door.

"Have you read them yet?" I dropped my head and shook it as a no.

Lindsey went over to the counter and stood there for a few minutes.

"Baby please say something." I grabbed his hand. He brought both tests over to me. I shut my eyes as he took my other hand and put them both in my hands. His hand let go of mine as his finger went under my chin.

"Steph open your eyes and look at me." I opened my eyes to see a slight smile.

"Why are you smiling like that?"
