This poem is corny,
But I'm done,

Nikki liked Josh since elementary; He was always on her mind. She loved his jet black hair And deep brown chocolate eyes.
But Josh did not feel the same He just saw her as a friend And although he saw her that way, They were great friends till the end.
James and Mary- whom were their best friends- Tried to push Josh and Nikki together, But ended up at dead ends All of that ended when Josh moved away And Nikki cried until one day
Realization came to mind: Josh was not the one for her. Add throughout the years she had much heartbreak, Until the day when Josh returned.
The boy had grown to 5"8' And changed drastically in his voice But he was still the same Josh that Nikki knew and loved, And meeting again ended in rejoice.
Josh saw Nikki's beauty And melted into her eyes He fell in love with her reckless personality. His heart soared into the sky.
So then one day he confessed his love And apologized for his ignorance She said she too, loved him so As he took both of her hands
This is our story, my sweet Nikki And I know it will end well. So the day when we finally wed, Know that you're not the only one that fell.
