There are times when you can't breathe. All you hear is your own heartbeat, but instead of a light thump in your chest, it's a pounding in your ear, begging you to let in a breath, just one. The one thing keeping you away from living or dying is within your reach. But I can't do that.
The car seat is crushing me. I can't breath or think. I throw my hands out to meet something, anything that could help me take one gulp of air. Darkness is threatening to take over my sight any second now. Its claws creap under my skin, laughing at me. Struggling to not let it take me, the darkness overpowers.
I'm drifting.
I'm so cold. Me and my father took a trip to Mount Everest one year to take on the top of the world. Within the second day, I was so cold, I couldn't feel my body. Well, that is how it feels at this moment. Howver, there's a light in front of me. I can feel the warmth from it wrapping its finger around my shivering body and tugging. It's so inviting. I take the smallest steps toward that light, letting it envelop me away from the darkness.
