I ran downstairs and realized it was still raining. I thought about how I kept dreaming I'd be going home with Hobi, sharing an umbrella together. But things just kept getting worse today. Ever since that punk pushed me down.

I was about to walk out into the rain and that's when I noticed Hobi leaning against the pillar. He was waiting for me? He saw me and came towards me.

"Are you done?" he asked.

"Yeah. Were you waiting for me?" I quizzed.

"Of course who else will I wait for?" he said tilting his head with a smile and a part of my heart melted. Don't do stuff like this anymore. I won't be able to stop loving you this way....

I looked up at him all sad. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I was going to burst out crying. I had to tell him. I guess I wasn't the type to keep things within.

"Wait Saya. Your eyes look red." He said as he came close to me.

Just then, somebody came and covered my eyes and pulled me back.

"This girl and I have some unfinished business." said the voice and I knew who it was. The punk.

"Hey! You're that bastard who pushed Saya down. You always trouble her. What is it now? Leave her alone before I start kicking your ass." Hobi said as he held my hand not letting me go.

"Ask her yourself. Saya don't we have some business to finish together?" he said sweetly.

"Umm yeah. We have this assignment to finish together." I said and let Hobi's hands off mine.

"Alright then you take care. Text me when you reach home Saya. And if you do something, I'll make you regret it." he glared at Taehyung as he opened his umbrella and walked out of the school.

"Don't you want to thank me? I'll take it if you say it kindly."

"And why would I do that?"

"Because I covered your eyes and he couldn't see you cry."

"I wasn't going to cry. My eyes were red from before." I said as I looked down. He was right. I was about to cry but he doesn't have to know that.

"Well whatever. Are you still going to let him go? Let him be happy but be sad instead?"

I looked at Hobi who was walking out of the gate. I watched his back as it rained hard. Like it was my own tears falling down from the heaven, wailing for his attention. I watched as I couldn't see him anymore. No. I couldn't let him go that easily. I loved him more than Yumi. I deserved him more than she did.

I looked back at Taehyung with determination in my eyes. He smiled back. 'I can't let him go' said my eyes. Although I hate to admit it but this punk and I could read each other's faces. Like we had telepathy.

I guess when two people filled with envy get together, their powers grow stronger. That's what happened to us. We were two people filled with envy. Two people wanting the same goal for getting our respective belongings back. Two people with mutual interests.

"Okay so we have a deal then. We'll cooperate with each other and break them apart." he said.

"Yeah. We'll go far but not too far. And I'll tell you when to stop."

"Stop? There is no stop in this game until we get what we wanted." he said as he opened his umbrella.

"I'll text you my plans. Never thought I'd ever ask this but give me your number." He said as he made an annoyed face.

"The feelings are mutual." I said as I exchanged numbers with him.

He started to walk out but he stopped.

"Just for today, I'll let you share with my umbrella but just for today. Remember that."

I had no choice. It seemed to be raining more and more without any sign to stop. It was better than getting wet and sick later on.

So we walked together under the same umbrella. The umbrella was hiding his face so no one could see who I was walking with.

"Move away. You're sticking to me." he screamed.

"I'm not sticking to you! I don't have any space left here." I shot back.

"You do. I don't care if you get wet a little. You should be happy I let you share my umbrella."

"Oh well boo-hoo get used to it. You're the one who gave the idea of joining forces and now we'll have to face more situations like these so cooperate now and start getting used to it from now." I screamed at his ear.

"I'll start from tomorrow. So for now don't stick to me!"

"You know what? You're such an ass. I realized that I'd rather get wet than share an umbrella with you." I screamed and started walking out of the umbrella.

He grabbed my hand. "Ugh don't make me do this shit. You'll get sick and we won't be able to go along with the plans I'll be making."

"I don't care! I can't be with you at all! I don't know how the heck it'll work out-"

"Taehyung? What are you doing here? Are you fighting with Saya again?" said a girl sitting in a car with her windows down. Ugh....it was Yumi. And she knew my name?

"Oh Yumi! No I wasn't. I was telling her to share my umbrella or she could get wet." Blurted out this punk. Nice. Trying to act concerned now.

"Why don't you guys get inside the car? I'll drop you two home." She said. I hated it but I couldn't say no because the rain didn't seem to stop.

Me and Yumi sat together behind and Taehyung sat next to the driver.

I looked at Yumi after settling inside and she looked back at me, smiling brightly. I looked away from her.

"I'm sorry Taehyung always keeps fighting with you. He just likes to pick on you I guess."

"Yumi what are you saying? She's the one who picks a fight with me. You don't have to say her sorry." He said looking at the rearview mirror.

"Umm how do you know my name?" I turned around to ask her. I didn't care about what she said before that.

"Hobi told me." she looked down at her hands placed on her lap.

"Ohh what else did he say?"

She blushed lightly and I looked at Taehyung who was looking away now.

"You're a very close friend of him and he trusts you a lot. Stuff like that. We're lab partners you see...so we got talking."

"Oh lab partners huh. Nice. Yeah we're really close. He's very close to me and I'd never let anyone come in between us." I said without realizing what I had just told.

Yumi looked away. "Ohh I see. That's nice." There was an awkward silence. The atmosphere was heavy and everybody felt it. Even the driver felt it as he constantly shifted his weight and tried to drive faster.

My house came and I said my thanks and got to my gate. I looked back at them as the car left my neighborhood and Taehyung eyed me from his side and eventually looked away. 'Good start'. Well I didn't mean to say anything but I'm sorta happy I did. That must've made her tense. She must be thinking about her decision now.

I sighed as I entered my house. It had been the worst day of my life.

Hoseok came out of the bathroom with a towel on his shoulder. He wore his black tee and his gray sweatpants. He picked up his phone and smiled as he read a message from Saya "I'm home".

He flopped back on his bed and wondered. Why would Saya and that rude kid have an assignment together if they aren't even in the same class?
