                                              I loved and I lost you
Now my feelings are numb
I thought you felt it too
But maybe thinking that was dumb
                          It hurt like hell
When you walked away
Left me an empty shell
Ever since that day
                          I'll eventually recover
From the numb feeling
Maybe have a real lover
One that's worth keeping
                          You want nothing to do with me
Threw me away like trash
And I wish you could see
The heart that you smashed
                          And if you still care
Don't let me know
I don't want to share
The death of hope that let you go
