Where I've Been

Beach Olympics and look out for pawikans

Day 1 -
Our leader of the group was Latinne and she put me in place to do chess and Frisbee. I played chess with 3 people, Brianna, selina and Rachel, none of them knew how to play except Brianna. I played first with Rachel, she was a Korean who could speak in English. She's fun to be with especially when we tease each other. So on with the game she didn't know how to play and I know how to play chess, I won the game but the game was taking such a long time to finish, So one point for my team. Then I went against Brianna she knew how so I knew this was going to be a tough time. In the first game we had a tie we both had 3 pawns, 1 king and a bishop. But we didn't get any points because we'll play another game later.

Now I went against selina she's known as the quiet, sometimes let's out a laugh and very polite. She didn't know how to play the game, so I won again. Another point for my team. Then we had a rest, I felt so tired then after an hour Brianna called me, we were going to play our next round of chess, and inside my heart was pounding so hard because I was carrying the whole teams score with this game. The game ends and I have

WON THE GAME!

I was so happy! I jumped up with excitement and I think Brianna only noticed me so happy. Then Sir Henry our head science teacher, we have an art wall assignment to do. I joined in, also iggy, elle, Isaya, Belen, Luka, nicole and Jasmine. We rode in a van going to the wall, and It seemed so hot outside, once I went out of the van it was extremely hot! And I had to work there for 4 hours. What we did was only using the primary colours for our wall (the theme is about pawikans) we had the best artist in school elle and she made the pawikans for us. The wall was started to become in one piece, it looked gorgeous. So after a few hours Sir Henry cane back with bread and tuna for snack, then we cleaned up and guess what?! We walked back which took like 40 minutes. But it was a good walk and when we came back to the house everyone was starting to swim but the thing is I was not allowed to swim, so I didnt swim instead I played Frisbee.

Then our environmental science teacher called us he showed us the monn in a telescope it was amazing, I could see the craters of the moon. Then my other classmates went to see it so I moved back and decided to continue playing Frisbee. Then it was time to set baby pawikans to the sea we would grab one and lay them down on the sand and watch them walk to the sea. You shouldn't make a sound so it would know where the sea is by heating yes waves.

Then swimming time was finished and we took a shower, it was so hard to take a shower there because there was only 3 restrooms. So I stood near a bathroom after the teacher was finished I got bad luck the water wasn't working so I had to find or wait for another shower. But there was like 110 students waiting for a shower so I just joined my frineds in a shower. Finally i was. Able to take a bath and it was dinner time!

Then after a few hours we had a meeting for the look out for pawikans, we were supposed to find a pawikans going up to the shore and they will lay eggs and while they're laying the eggs were going to dig a hole so we can get them and then we would put them in an incubator and set them free when they are born. So luckily we found an adult pawikan, it went across and started to lay eggs it was so cool. Then the experts went on to make a hole and get the eggs. We went to the incubators and layed the eggs in carefully. Then we had to walk back to our house and it was lights out!
