~1 month later~

"Do you want to go to Florida for Christmas break?" Cole asked randomly.

"What?" I laughed.

"I was thinking. Since we have two weeks off of school maybe we could go somewhere. And I remember you saying something about wanting to go to Florida."

"I'd love to go to Florida with you...but I have to ask my dad first." I frowned.

Cole had that adorable boyish grin plastered on his face.

"Christmas break begins tomorrow, I wouldn't have told you if your dad hadn't already said yes."

"My dad must love you." I chuckled.

Cole nodded his head. "What do you want to do? Pack?" I asked.

"I'm already packed, the least I could do is help you pack." He shrugged.

We spent four hours looking through my closet and packing everything I needed. It was 3:00 o'clock A.M. now.

Cole plopped down on my bed and passed out right away. I smiled to myself before I crawled into my bed as well, snuggling into him.

He kissed the top of my head and whispered, "We leave at 7:00 o'clock." I set the alarm for six and fell into a comfortable sleep.

I woke up as soon as the first beep for my alarm went off. I turned around and Cole was on his back, fast asleep.

I crawled on top of him and kissed him. I felt him wake up and his hands were firmly placed on my back.

His tongue swiped my bottom lip asking for entrance. I granted it to him and our tongues fought for dominance. He won, as expected.

It wasn't long before we had to pull away for air.

"That is the best way to wake up, you should try that more often." He grinned.

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't." I said as I walked into the bathroom.

"Tease." I heard him sigh.

"But you still like me." I called.

"Yeah, I do."

I smiled as I turned on my iPod.

"If the sky falls. If the world ends. If the sun sets and the rivers turn red. If we get lost in the twilight. Somehow I know we'll be alright. 'Cause I got you. And you got me. And we got us, yeah, we got us, yeah, we got us. Yeah, we got trust. Hard thing to come by these days. Everybody playing someone. Yeah, we got love. It don't gotta cost a thing even when the money dries up. We still got it all, we got it made. And that's why everybody else is throwing shade. So let the weatherman call for more rain. You don't gotta be afraid. If the sky falls. If the world ends. If the sun sets, and the rivers turn red. If we get lost in the twilight. Somehow I know we'll be alright. 'Cause I got you. And you got me. And we got us, yeah, we got us, yeah, we got us. Yeah, we got luck. Go ahead and roll the dice, I'll be standing by your side. And we'll always have enough. Even when it feels like everyday we're running out of time. We still got it all, we got it made. And that's why everybody else is throwing shade. So let the weatherman call for more rain. You don't gotta be afraid."

The song finished and I got out of the shower.
I put on a loose white t-shirt, jeans, bracelets, and some sandals.

I walked into my bedroom and saw I had a text.
