It's been like forever since the last time I write. God knows how hard I tried to write this ;;; Never been good at this, anyway.

He's there.
(Y/N)'s hands shivered as she hovered it over a blade; her first blade. She was sure that she memorized the spell correctly, but as she chanted the spell, her memories are threatening to tumble over. She was almost sure that she'll fail the spell. Yet after some moments, she finished without twisting her tongue. The blade then shone, so bright that she had to cover her eyes, and when she opened her eyes, a blond was staring back at her.
"I'm Yamanbagiri Kunihiro. I was forged at the request of the lord of Ashikaga castle, Nagao Akinaga... as a copy of Yamanbagiri. However, I'm no fake! I'm Kunihiro's first masterpiece...! " the blond pulled down his hoodie and looked away. (Y/N) blinked in confusion at first, but then, a beautiful smile managed to find its way to her lips.
"It's a honor to have you under my possession," the Sage then bowed. "I will never--never consider you as a fake. I'll respect you and treasure you, for that is what you deserve,"
"... Don't say something like that," Yamanbagiri then walked away. His face wasn't clearly visible under his cape, but the Sword was clearly blushing.
"How rude!" Konnosuke grumbled, but (Y/N) answered with a laugh instead.
"It's okay, Konnosuke," the female smiled. "Besides, I'll try to get along with him as well. He'll get used eventually, I believe,"
"If you say so," Konnosuke shrugged. "Now, it's time for your first tantou,"
The blacksmith came shortly after, holding a small blade in hand. (Y/N) chanted the same spell again, but this time with more confidence gained after her success on her first try. She finished the spell more easily and light-heartedly than the first one.
"I'm Yagen Toushirou. In spite of my name, unlike my brothers I was raised on the battlefield. Though I don't know much about refined things, when it comes to the battlefield you can rely on me. Well, let's get along, General," a boy with charming violet orbs looking like he's around 14. Your palms met in front of your chest as you smiled. Seems like being a Saniwa is not that bad.
"Alright, alright," you replied, "I'll trust the battlefield to you, then. Pleased to meet you!"

You blinked, and now, it's been almost three years after you first started your mission as a Saniwa.
"Time sure flies really fast," you whispered, more to yourself than to anyone else. You sipped the warm green tea, enjoying the moonlight's companion in a blissful night.
