Chapter II: Now And Then

Grace's P.O.V.

I looked outside my window to see the world becoming so small. Is this a dream? I want to wake up and hang with my sister and act as the weird people we are. All our memories came back to me like a wrecking ball. Or like the two airplanes hitting both towers. My world was trembling down. Piece by piece. Me and my sister were both destroyed by the divorce. I felt like my world was ending, I felt so numb that I barely heard dad calling me. "Gracey, are you ok?" He asked concerned
I looked at him throwing daggers with my eyes to him. "Dad, you ask that like you haven't done anything" I snapped at him. I felt bad of how i talked to him but he was the one that had to keep our family together.
The next day I should've of went to school but I didn't because I said that I was sick. "Don't worry, it's going to be ok, it's now you and me" He said in a soft voice.
Well here I was sad about the whole thing but I needed to be strong. I need to prove everyone that I am a strong young girl. I saw to my left and a boy my age stood out the most. He looked very broken but changed it really quick. There was a seat free right next to him so I went to sit next to him. He looked at me with beautiful green eyes. He looked so dashing with the sun hitting his hair. He totally looked like a tumblr boy (yup the ones that you drool  and daydream about) "um hey there" I said. He looked at me bewildered. "Hello" he said. "My name is grace, what's yours?" I asked. "My name is Ashton Davis" he said. "Well nice to meet you Ashton" I said. We started having bizarre conversations but it felt like we were truly bonding. The plane started to move a lot and I got so scared that I didn't even notice that I was holding Ashton's hand. I looked down embarrassed and mumbled a sorry. The shaking got worst and I started silently crying and someone unbuckled my seat belt and I panicked. I was seated on a lap and Ashton put his seat belt on both of us. I looked at him with puffy red eyes. "Everything will be ok grace" he said softly. We kept looking at each other and I saw that he was leaning in. I leaned in also. Our lips were almost touching and I felt him breathing on mine. The kiss was passionate, and I felt I was in a different world. His lips felt like soft expensive pillows. It all felt like the sunset coming down and the amazing stars shining bright at a dark mysterious night. We pulled away and rested our foreheads on each other's. "Ashton" I said low. He looked at me with loving eyes. "That was my first kiss" I said a little louder. His eyes widen. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take away your first kiss" he said. "It's ok, I wanted it to happen anyways" I said. He looked at me with wonder eyes. " Grace.." He said my name. I loved the way it came from even though we just met. His deep and husky voice weakens me at my knees once he says my name out loud. I think I'm Already falling for him even though we just met. "Yes?" I asked thinking of reasons he might ruin the thing we got. "I know we just met but I gotta be honest with you here..... I'm falling for you, and fast" He said out loud. I smiled with the biggest smile I ever gotten out of myself. "I think I'm falling for you too Ash" Is said grinning at him. God those eyes, I can just stand here and be controlled by his green eyes. They were just like the color of the woods, the trees in a beautiful spring day. "Grace! we have to go" my dad called from afar from me. I looked at Ashton with glossy eyes because of my departure. "Hey it's ok, We will see each other again, don't worry" He said so sure about his response. "Okay" I said. I hugged him and kissed him again. This time the kiss was slow and passionate. He deepened the kiss and I just smile from the great feeling. " Let me give you my phone number" He said. I pulled my phone number out and so did he. I typed my phone number in and he did the same. I gave him back his phone while he handed me back mine. "See you soon Grace" he said. "See you soon Ashton" I said sad...... I slept the whole way to the house and once I got there dad woke me up. I saw the big mansion before me. My breath wad taken away from me because of the breathtaking mansion that was before me. Dad grinned at me and gave me a light push towards the front of the huge house. "Dad, how did you got this house?" I asked too shocked of the big castle in front of me. "If you set your mind on a dream, you can achieve it" That's all he said before leading me inside of the big maze.
