"So, homework?" Natalie asks Lauren, looking at her and her brother as they walk.

"Yep! That means no making out you two!" Ken says, looking at Lauren and Nat.

Lauren began to feel her face heat up, 'Why would he say that?!' Lauren thought, looking at her brother with a look that could resemble hatred. She didn't actually hate him, she just did right now.

Lauren heard Nat laugh. She's always loved their laugh, so adorable, like a fluffy kitten, Why not a dog, you ask. Well, Lauren hates dogs. Why'd I mention that you ask? Because fuck you, that's why.

For the rest of the walk, they were silent. It was a sort of comfortable silence.

"I need the bathroom," Natalie says, getting up.

"Bathroom is down the hall, second door to the right," Lauren said with a smile.

Lauren starred as Natalie walked away, this isn't creepy, right? Nah, it's totally normal and platonic to stare at your best friend's butt, right?

"So, you like them?" Ken asked quietly, not wanting Natalie to hear, although the bathroom was far away.

"Well, yeah! Is it that obvious?" Lauren asked, whisper-yelling. That's a thing, right?

"Yeah, kinda," Ken said looking over at the TV.
"I would recommend telling them, if you don't they will go their whole life thinking no one liked em'" ken said, looking at his older sister.
"They won't believe me, though, that's why I haven't. I would if they would believe me," Lauren said as she looked down at the floor.
After a couple minutes of science, Natalie came back from the bathroom and everyone got out their homework.
After about twenty minutes, Lauren got a text.
Emily: hay ❤️
Lauren: uhh hi Emily?
Emily: I just wanted to say hello ❤️
Lauren then got weirded out and shut off her phone.
"Who was it?" Ken asked.
"Emily, she just put a fuckton of heart emojis after everything," Lauren said, going back to her homework.
After about an hour, they all agreed on taking a movie break.
"Harry Potter?" Lauren asked, looking at the two.
"Duh, I'll go get the popcorn," ken said, getting up and walking to the kitchen.
Lauren got up to follow him, but tripped on the rug and landed on Natalie.
The both laughed for a while.
Lauren's face turned a light red as she realised what just happened.
Lauren looked into Natalie's eyes. They were so pretty, a lovely shade of brown with a hint of dark green. Truest beautiful. It would remind someone if the forest and pine trees. They truly were beautiful.

Natalie looked up at Lauren after they stopped laughing, it got a little awkward. Natalie just noticed that Lauren's eyes were blue. Yeah, not a very observant person.
Lauren leaned in and before Natalie could even process what was happening, their lips connected. It didn't take long before Natalie kissed back. It felt like magic.
They heard someone clear their throat from the doorway and Lauren awkwardly got off of Natalie.
"That's one way of admitting you like someone,"
