   "How could life get any worse?" Natalie said.

"What happened?" Lauren asked, momentarily stopping her conversation about, well, dicks. That's what everyone usually talks about, right? Yeah, that's normal.

"My dragon died!" They yelled, getting some strange looks from students passing by.

"Are you kidding? I thought you were really sad!" Lauren said sarcastically, just so she doesn't sound angry, Natalie guessed.

"I AM really sad!" Natalie laughed.

there was really only a few people who could really make them laugh. Lauren and that weird guy that just so happens to sit with them and also likes dragons.

Natalie didn't know why Lauren made them laugh unlike anyone else. Natalie usually doesn't laugh.

"Am I still coming over?" Natalie asked, looking over at Lauren as they walked to a class they had together.

"Yeah! Your walking home with us, right?" Lauren asked, looking up at Natalie.

Lauren already knew she liked Natalie, She loved their eyes, their face, their hair, just everything. But they didn't see that.

"Yea, I mean, I hope so!"

Lauren looked back over at them, seeing Natalie happy to go over to her- I mean, their house was awesome.

"God, why won't you guys just kiss already?" Lauren's Brother, Ken said.

He knew Lauren liked Nat, that's their nickname.

Laurens face heated up and gave him the 'Stop or I'll kill you' look.

How could he just say that! Sooner or later Nat would find out that Lauren likes them, and she doesn't want that. Mostly because they wouldn't believe her, which is sad. Lauren has always seen Natalie as perfect.

"Only in your dreams," Lauren said, looking over at her brother. It was funny, because she was older, and he acted like he was older.
