She ran into the hospital looking around frantically. She was crying her eyes out and scared for her fiance. She wanted to break down and cry right then and there but she knew she had to find out what condition he was in first.
"Park Jimin, please."
The lady at the front desk stares at Burcin momentarily before looking down at her computer and starts to type. Burcin rolled her eyes, sighed and hopped on her legs as she waited for her to search what she needs to search.
"He's still in surgery ma'am. The doctor will let you know when he's done. Which shouldn't be too long." She says as she looks up at Burcin. "The waiting room is to your left, down the corner. I just notified him that you're here and as soon as he's done he will let you know what his condition is."
Burcin nods quickly and starts to walk to the waiting room slowly. This was so surreal to her. She was in the state of shock she didn't know how to react. Her fiance was in the middle of surgery after a car accident and was in critical condition. They weren't letting her know what was happening and she was scared.
"Burcin!"
She quickly looked up from her trance to see her and her fiance's best friend, the reason they met and fell in love, Jungkook. She stood up and ran into his chest. He hugged her tightly as she cried. She was now in the comfort of her best friend, she felt safe to cry. There's a part of her that wishes she was in the comfort of Jimin but all she could do at this point was pray. Pray that her fiance is okay and alive. She continues to cry into Jungkook's chest as he rubs her back and tries to calm her down.
"What did they say? Did they say anything?" He asks once she quieted down.
"No, she just told me to wait here for the doctor. The hospital called me and told me he was in a bad car accident and I needed to get here quickly. That's all." Burcin whined as she plopped back onto her seat. She let her elbows rest on her knees and her face in her hands.
Jungkook took the seat next to her and rubbed her back. "He's a strong guy, Burcin. He'll make it out. I promise." He whispered and kissed the top of her head.
She needed the reassurance of her best friend but still couldn't help but fear the worst.
They waited for what felt like days, when in reality, it was two hours. Burcin went from pacing the room to sitting down with her knee bouncing, to continuously talking about memories with Jimin to not talking at all. She didn't know how to handle her emotions. So just like her emotions, she was all over the place.
Jungkook finally decided to get up and check with the front desk himself. "Excuse me, is there any updates on Park Jimin?"
"He just got out of surgery, sir. The doctor should be here shortly to explain the conditions of Park Jimin to you and the girl."
"Thank you." He sighed no bothering to wait for her response.
Jungkook was also frustrated. His best friend since he was fourteen, and Jimin was sixteen, was in the hospital and was left obvious to what was happening to him. Jungkook didn't know how to cope either, but he knew he had to stay strong for Burcin. But he knew if his best friend, his brother, were to die... He would break down. He wouldn't know what to do without his right hand and he's scared he might have to live without it.
