Burcin
It's been about two weeks since Jimin got into the coma and there's no sign of him getting out of it anytime soon. Jungkook and I have visited everyday since the accident and we don't plan to stop. I just got out of my shift at the hospital and got into the car to drive to the hospital Jimin is in. I would have moved him here but it's better to leave love out of work so I can't treat him. Legally, because everyone knows I will most likely give him larger treatment to get him to wake up.
Jimin and I have been together for about six years now. We met in senior year of high school when we were eighteen. We're now twenty-four years old. We dated through senior year but broke up freshman year of college because we didn't go to the same college and thought distance was hard. But about a year and a half after that, we met again and started dating again. We've been together since then and Jimin proposed to me a few months ago. We were due to get married in three months.
I sigh as I walk into the familiar hospital and smile at the lady at the front desk who's name I learned is Jess. "Hey Jess."
"Hey Burcin." She smiles and nods towards the direction to Jimin's room. I smile sadly as I start to walk down the hallways that I can now walk with a blindfold over my eyes and still know where to go.
I open the door and look at my fiance's figure. He's still as pale as he was before. His scrapes have gone away, some still healing. His hand is still in a cast but one that's more for if you sprained it, since he doesn't move his wrist has healed a bit faster than if a person who moved around.
I smile at his closed eyes and emotionless face and sit in the same chair, pulling it closer to the bed. I take his hand again and look down at the ring on his finger. About three and a half years ago we got matching promise rings. His has my initials on it and vice versa.
I kiss the ring then his hand and rest my cheek on the back of his hand as I stare at him. That's all I've been doing lately. I stare at him. I soak in his beauty just in case I wont be able to anymore.
"I miss you." I sigh and blink away the tears I already feel starting in my eyes. "I told myself that I wasn't going to cry when I visit you. Just in case you do wake up.. I don't want the first thing you see is me crying." I laugh lightly and sigh as I lay my forehead on his stomach and close my eyes.
I imagine his hand running through my hair and his voice telling me to look up, then I would look up and see his eyes open and him smiling at me. I stopped imagining that once I felt tears well up in my eyes and heard a knock on the door. I quickly wiped at my eyes and said for the person to come in.
Jungkook walked in with a small smile on his face. "How are you?" He asks and takes the seat on the other side of the bed, so he's across from me and Jimin's body in between us.
"I'm alright. How was work?"
"Good. A kid came in and I taught him the dance me and Jimin came up with. It's not the same, teaching a dance alone."
Jungkook and Jimin own a dance studio together, as well as Taehyung. They teach all types of dances, since they learned a lot of genres in college.
Jimin met Jungkook in college, while he's been best buddies with Taehyung since birth. I've been best friends with Jungkook since the third grade. he met Jimin first and we met through Jungkook.
