Diagon Alley; a place which most children adored, why wouldn't they? The alley was magical, each shop unusual but magnificent at the same time, it was somewhere every magical child looked forward to going to, every child except for Michaela.

Michaela dragged her feet along the cobbled road as her parents dragged her into shop after shop. The girl was tired, annoyed and most of all bored.

Boredom did not sit well with Michaela, in fact every time Michaela was left bored something ended up exploding, it was one of her many talents. So each time her parents left for work, the girl was given a pile of books to keep herself occupied until they came home.

Everyday the girl got through more and more books until her parents ran out of books to give her about magic and instead gave her books that would teach her new languages, this way she had learned 456 different languages.

As the girl did not have any books to read while she was trying on her uniform, she decided to concentrate her mind on something different, the boy who was standing with his parents waiting to be fitted.

The boy had messy jet black hair and glasses and was complaining quite loudly.

"Mum!," the boy complained "I want to go and see the brooms now"

"James," the boy's mother said wearily, "I told you that we would go after you had gotten your robes"

Michaela soon grew tired of the boys complaining and decided to do something to stop it, something that would distract him.

"AAAHHHH!" The boy yelled

The boys trousers had caught on fire and he was doing everything he could to put it out, if by everything he could you mean screaming like a baby.

The boy's mother was quick to get into action and put out the fire with a flick of her wand

"I can't imagine what started it" the boy's mother told Michaela's parents

"I can" Annabeth said lowly

After that Michaela's parents were quick to get out of the shop

"I can't believe you did that!" Nicholas gave out

"I was bored" Michaela said simply, "Now can we go?"

"No" Annabeth told her daughter, "we have two more stops to go"

An hour and a half later, Michaela finally got her wish, they were leaving. After getting her robes she was dragged in to get her wand, which took and awfully long time, not that Michaela minded, she actually quite enjoyed her experience in the small, dark shop.

Her parents had one more surprise to her after that, they brought her to get a pet. Michaela at once did not approve of this idea, but eventually chose a small tawny owl, a decision that had taken her almost an hour to make.

The hadn't been so bad, after all she had gotten to set someone's trousers on fire.
