"We leave tomorrow," I mumble as I looked at some papers. Lou came to visit me at work or have lunch with me actually.

"Aww... but you'll be coming for New Years right?"

"Of course!" I say as I stood up a left the paper on the desk. We went to the break room and sat across one another.

"Where's Harry?" Lou said as she grabbed the Caesar salads from the brown bag. I sigh as she hands me my salad.

"Somewhere around the building," I say as I put the dressing on my salad and began to eat it.

"Oh, he must be busy," Lou say as I nod.

"Me. Hilton has ordered him a lot today... probably because it's that time of season where a lot of people stay in hotels... it's actually gotten lots of people staying in his hotel since it more elegant then others," I say as Lou nods.

"He's been off lately too... he's always- I don't know nervous... in his own thoughts. I feel like he might be-" I began to say until Harry and John came in with big smiles on their faces.

"Hey babe," Harry said as I smile. He pecks my forehead as he sat beside me.

"What up Rose, Lou," John said as Lou said hi.

"What's for lunch?" John said as he sat beside Lou.

"It's not high school." I said as John playfully rolled his eyes. I giggle making him stick his tongue out.

"What up!" Rebecca came in few seconds laters with Lily and Lauren.

"Hey Lou!" Lily said and Lou waved. Everything was good until the snake came in... Dara.

"Hey!" She said as no one answer well except for Harry. It's been about a month or so and Harry and Dara friendship was getting better and better by the second... whoop whoop! Note the sarcasm.

Ever since she came all Harry and I been doing is fighting. It's either because I'm jealous or because I say something bad about Dara and Harry is quickly there to defend her.

"Did you guys hear a hiss?" John said as he furrowed his brow and looked around.

"I did, it was so loud the whole building could hear," I say with a smirk as I heard a chuckle from Lou.

"Probably a snake near us," Rebecca said as I giggled.

"Better watch out! Don't want to get poised," Lily said as we all burst in laughter except for Dara and Harry who were in there own conversation. I rolled my eyes as went back to talking with my friends.

"See you tonight!" I said as Lou gave me a thumbs up and left. I sigh as I turn around and sit on my chair. I continue reading the papers and making some note until someone tapped my shoulder. I jumped a bit, not expecting it. As I look behind me, my eyes widen.

"Alex?!?" I asked as I slowly stood up and looked at him. He looked nervous as he fiddled with a fingers and avoided looking at me in the eyes.

"Hey Rosalie.... can I talk to you for a second?" He says as I look around. Harry wasn't no where to be seen which was good or he would beat the shit out of Alex.

I sigh as I nod, we head to the break room and I quickly shut the door.

"W-what's up?" I ask as he sighs.

"I-I just wanted to say sorry.... I- I don't know why I was so mean towards you... maybe it was the thought that I was falling in love you with you, and then when you told me about your daughter... I don't know what got through my head, I shouldn't have called you though ugly names..." he looked at me and looked at me dead in the eyes.

"Alex... "

"You don't have to apologize... I know what I did was wrong and I don't deserve your apology, I just wanted to say sorry, I wanted to get it out of my chest-"

"A-are you still in love with me?" I stutter as he looks at me. I knew Alex was always scared of showing his emotions, he always had some kind of trouble, but I didn't expect for this to leave his mouth in a million years.

"Yeah... but I know you found somebody better and I know I can't do anything about it.. it was my lost." He mumbles as I sigh.

"The right girl will come soon..." I said as he just nods as he lips went into be thin line.

"Hopefully," Alex says between chuckles.

"Well I should go now.... it was nice seeing you," he says as he was about to leave.

"Nice seeing you too," I said as he smiled and headed out. I shortly went behind him and watched as he got in the elevator. I couldn't believe it, this was not the Alex that left me.... it's like someone took his soul and renewed it with a nice one.

I sat down on my chair as I leaned back and looked at the ceiling. I wasn't expecting that at all.

"I made pasta Alfredo!" Lou said as the four of us sat down in our little square table. Harry went home because being his lazy self didn't pack up so he has a lot of packing to do right now.

"Yay?" Everyone said as I chuckle. I began eating as me a Lou just made jokes and the girls only laughed.

"Alex came today," I said as Lou's eyes widen.

"What?!? Why?!" She asked as I such and began to tell her from the beginning. She seemed so surprised as be, who wouldn't? Seeing you ex come by and apologize to you for the all the wrong he did. It's quite surprising.

"Wow," she said as she stared as nothing as she took a sip from her Coke. I nod as I grabbed a spoonful of my plate and ate.

"I know," is all I said before we began to eat again. Lou told me about her day then the girls on what they did at school and that's how our day went.
