"Now is the time for our fate to connect
Believing in the same future, we intersect"
Snow. Acres and acres of snow. That was all the young boy can see while holding the young infant into his arms. His cry being loud, though he couldn't quiet the child so that they wouldn't find them. Not to mention there was a huge blizzard currently blowing and it made it harder to keep even himself warm.
God if you are out there please give me a blessing. The boy thought between his hesitate breaths. God he was to young to die. But then again, he did manage to snatch a young child from some weird experiment like room that also seemed meant to be a bedroom.
But god, he didn't want to know what they were gonna do to a young child with all those scary machines. So he just... Didn't think twice before grabbing him and making a run for it. Of course he knew there would be consequences. I mean it wasn't like he got out of there unharmed. He did indeed come out with some wounds. Though it was a wonder how he got out there alive. But what was the point of trying now? He probably was either gonna freeze to death with the infant or even get captured and get killed for stealing him. Or go become one of them. Which note, he didn't want to.
He was starting to feel weak, the infant in his arms started to feel heavy by every second and his eyelids seemed like they would close shut. The crying was starting to give him a headache. He wanted to try to muffle out the cries by holding the child into his shirt, but he knew that would be a bad idea. Since he didn't want to be the cause of a child's death.
"Come on... Do me a favor and be a little quieter?" he wheezed, almost pleading the child in his arms. Though he should have known that a single child would be unwilling to listen. Heck he didn't even know if he understood him in this crazy weather. If only he could find a cave. Or just some sort of shelter.
Though he felt his eyes slowly begin to close tighter together, his legs eventually gave in and the young boy fell onto the ground. Holding a now, much louder, crying child. "God... You just will never stop crying..." he muttered. "Do me a favor and just sleep or something?"
Though he could guess a child who probably was starving wasn't gonna sleep anytime sooner. And he sure didn't have anything that a child could want. As a matter of fact, he didn't have any food at all.
Man he was so cold. He couldn't even feel his fingers and infant was even starting to feel cold to. Holding him closer to himself he tried to warm him up. He didn't want the child to freeze to death. Heck, he probably saved him from whatever was to happen to him.
But then again... ha... what kind of hero was he if the infant was just gonna die in his arms anyways? Man was he pathetic. He should have thought this through. He could hear his sister yelling at him from a mile away.
If only he was stronger, he could protect him from this storm. But legit, he couldn't. He felt his eyes slowly wanting to close. He was sure that he could see a very dim light flicker... Was it the Magitech? No... No it can't be... It seemed to have more of a warm feel to it... And he was pretty sure to see a fox like creature padding towards him. Though the boy closed his eyes before being able to make out the creature that was coming towards him or what they were gonna do to him and the child he was holding in his arms.
"All of our tears we have cried yesterday
Let's dry them up and continue smiling on today."
