Chapter 3

Ant's POV
After Carleigh left I made my way to the RR Theater. We had rehearsal and I had a massive hangover. I took some Advil to hold me over for rehearsal. I walked in and went straight to the dressing room. We had 30 minutes before we had to officially start.
"Woah dude, what happened to you?" Daveed said. We hit it off right away, so I knew I could trust them.
"I slept with Carleigh." I said. They stared at me saying nothing.
"Do you like her?" Oak said.
"No, it was a one night stand. We just met." I replied. The room was silent. We must have sat in silence for awhile, because before I knew it, it was time to rehearse. We made our way to the stage. She looked beautiful, her curly hair was almost waist length. She was talking to Renee and Jas, they were laughing about something. I snapped back to reality, we went through the songs. During Helpless, Jas was my partner. She has these pretty chocolate brown eyes. And a pretty bright smile. No Ant, stop. I thought to myself. Near the end of Helpless, Des and Lin kiss. I felt my body heat up with anger. I know they're only acting, but it made my blood boil. After Satisfied, we took a break. I went to get my phone from the dressing room, when I heard a knock at the door. Jas.
"Hey, are you okay?" She said eyeing me.
"I'm fine, just had to clear my mind."
"Come to lunch with us." She said. I had a feeling it wasn't a question. I just nodded my head. We went to Chipotle for lunch. Jas forgot to mention who was coming to lunch. It was Daveed, Oak, Renee, Lin, Carleigh, Thayne and Destiny. Jas sat down by Daveed and Renee leaving the only seat available right by Des. I saw her cheeks blush, guess I still have that affect on her. We got our food and sat down. "Hey I'm really sorry about yesterday." I said. "Its okay, I'm not entirely sure I didn't want it to happen." She blurts out. Her cheeks redden with embarrassment. I chuckle, intertwining her hand with mine under the table. "Are we really doing this?" I whisper in her ear. "I think so." She whispers back. We head back to rehearsal, it seemed to go along fairly quickly. I kept making faces at Des during Stay Alive Reprise. After rehearsal, I went to her dressing room. We made sure know one was around and kissed. We wanted our relationship to be a secret, just to make sure we really want this. "I have to go." she says looking at the time.
"Go on a date with me." I blurt out.
"When?" She asks
"Tonight."
"OK" she agrees. We kiss one last time. Before she leaves. It feels good to be with her again. I leave with a toothy grin on my face. Things are getting better from here...
