Chapter 7

Opening Day
Des
Beep Beep
I groggily remove myself from my bed, clicking off my alarm.
"It's time to wake up already?" Lily asks getting out of bed. She walks over and hugs me.
"What do you wanna eat?"
"Uhhh eggs, bacon and pancakes!"
" Coming right up" I say, Lily nods in excitement and goes to get dressed.
I walk in the kitchen to see Pippa.
"Good Morning Pip."
"Good Morning."
"Sooo..."Pip begins.
"Ask away!" I say, her smile brightens as she begins to ask every question regarding Ant and I, you could think of. I answer every question honestly. She squeals in excitement.
"Mommy, I'm ready!" Lily exclaims.
"Ok, sit and eat breakfast with Aunt Pippa, while Mommy gets ready."
Lily nods her head, while Pip makes her plate. The doorbell rings, and there stands Ant.
"Hi" Ant says.
"Hey"
"Hi"
"You said that already" I chuckle
"Right"
Lily jumps out of her seat and runs to give Ant a hug.
"Daddy!" She exclaims.
"Did you want to come in?" I ask.
"Of course he does" Pip says smiling.
"Come on, I want to show you my room!" Lily grabs him by the hand, basically dragging him. I go and get dressed. Ant rode here on the subway so I suggest we ride to rehearsal together.
As soon as we walk in the door, Lin screams "There's my ship!" I blush, and hurry to my dressing room.
"What was that about?" Renee chuckles. I shrug, looking as confused as her. Jasmine walks in, holding coffees for Renee and I.
" Guys, I need to tell you something" Jas starts to say, "Hold on Jas, Destiny was just about to tell me about her and Anthony." Renee interrupts.
" I didn't even say anything" I laugh
"Girl, its all in your face, those cheeks ain't red for nothing." I blush harder (if that's even possible)
" Good things come to those who wait." I say evilly.
I make my way to the stage. I take it all in, when I found out I was pregnant, everyone told my life was over. Little did they know it was just beginning. I feel arms wrap around my waist.
" Remember when we used to sit on Abuela's porch and dream about stages like this?" I nod my head as a tear runs down my cheek. I turn around to face him.
" She would be proud of you Ant, proud of us. She would of loved Lily. She always said,Ustedes dos serán estrellas un día." I wipe the tears from his eyes. His Abuela(she practically raised us) died. She was the sweetest, she was also the first person I told when I found out I was pregnant. Oh, and her cooking! She loved me like her own. My parents were always stressing over financial problems, worrying how they would send me to college. Ant and I have known each other longer than I can even remember. We were each other's first kiss, first time, first heartbreak, and first love.
"She's always watching" he says reassuringly. Rehearsal starts
~Time Skip~
After Rehearsal
"Hey do you mind if I go pick up Lily?" Ant asks me hesitantly.
" I'll have to call the school and give them a heads up, but sure." I say.
"Maybe I can take her to the park, then dinner and ice cream?"
"Yea, sure. Text me when you've be picked her up."
"Sure thing." I nod and watch him walk out the door.
"Lin!" I practically scream.
"What's up?" He asks.
"Well I'm planning on introducing Lily to the Cast, after the show. Could she and Pippa, possibly get tickets? If she gets fussy I promise I'll have Pip take her home and bring her back. Plus Pip really wants to see the show." I say.
"Well, Liliana can just hang out with Sebastian back stage, so Pippa can enjoy the show." He suggests.
"Thanks! I'll see you later, Alexander!"
"You're welcome, my dearest Eliza!" He jokes. I leave to go relax before the show.
