What a flowy name.
I had a weird feeling about him coming. What if he's a replacement for me? What if he's absolutely horrible and makes me dread work even more? I hate surprises.

I check my next email from my manager from this department, Jessica James.

From: Jessica James
Subject: tour
Hello Lucy,
If you haven't heard already, a new employee will be coming to work with us for a while, and since you're the most experienced one in this department, you will be showing him around. He will be here around 11 a.m. tomorrow. I would, but I have a meeting, which I need those papers for. He will be replacing the assistant manager and getting his office. Good luck.

I wish I could offer my tour guide spot to Sophie because I know she'd give him a tour of everything that's available on this floor. But, since Jessica kind of demanded that I do it and didn't ask, I'll have to tough it out and get it over with. I wish I had Sophie's conversationalist and charming personality and I wouldn't have a problem with talking to a complete stranger that apparentlys looks has the whole office whores talking. Let's hope this isn't as bad as I think it will be

I settle down into my couch as I sip on some tea and watch the 30th episode of friends I've watched tonight. I feel my eyes shutting as I realize I have told Sophie I'll be giving this dreamy boy a tour tomorrow. I pull out my I phone 6 and quickly find her contact.

Me: SOPHIEEE

I wait a few minutes and I get a text back. I love texting Sophie because we both have no life so we're always on our phones waiting for someone to hit us up. Which I'm sure Sophie has boys to text but I only have my stalker Daniel.

Sophie: YAS

Me: okay so yanno how you were talking about that one harry guy that's apparently super attractive that's coming tomorrow?

Sophie: how could I forget

Me: well Jessica emailed me and told me I'll be giving him a tour and showing him around, ugh. If I could give up my spot for you I totally would. I don't wanna deal with any more guy stuff

Sophie: kinda jealous it wasn't me BUT GETCHA SOME! Honestly you need it more than I do, I have a date this weekend anyways

Me: I don't wannananananananana

Sophie: it'll be fine, if you're not interested steer him my way and I'll make sure he's satisfied ;)

Me: omg, girl bye goodnight

Sophie: NIGHT LOVE

I chuckle at my phone before putting it on the table and curling up on the couch. Before I know it, I've fallen into a deep sleep.
