Hook stood up as soon as he finished eating and said before walking out of the kitchen area. "Follow me, love."

Despite not knowing him very well, it was one of those situations where Emma felt like she knew Hook for years and not a day, she said before following him "Alrighty."

She quickly trusted him, which was a bad thing for her. She clutched onto the necklace of the keychain that Neal gave her, as a reminder not to let anyone in ever again. After what Neal did to her she was a wreck. She didn't and couldn't trust anyone and here she is ten years later opening up to a stranger she barely knows, Hook or Killian, whatever his name was.  It really scared her that she trusted him, but she couldn't help it. Something about him just made Emma want to get to know him better.

Hook finally got to his cabin and thankfully his crew wasn't stupid. They pulled out an empty mattress from their quarters and brought it up here, so Hook and Emma wouldn't have to separate. Hook knew that if his crew didn't set up the mattress he wouldn't mind waking them all up by getting it himself.

He really didn't want to leave Emma alone. She was a damsel in distress. She wasn't the first damsel in distress; however, it was the first damsel in distress that Hook wanted to save. He wanted to protect her from anyone and anything that could hurt her. Even the messed up world. He would do it for her because he promised and he also felt compelled to protect her.

"Love, do you want to sleep in those clothes, see if your other clothes are dry, or sleeping in a different pair of my clothes?" Hook asked kindly, not wanting to frighten Emma. Hook knew he could get quite scary at times.

Emma crossed her arms a little embarrassed. She didn’t want change in front of this man. She could trust him with tidbits of her life story, yet she got insecure changing in front of him. She didn’t understand her own mind.

“I’ll stay in the clothes I’m wearing now thank you.” Emma said quietly but loud enough for Hook to hear her.

“Suit yourself, love.” Hook responded almost immediately, but regretted it the second after he said it. He didn’t mean to sound rude and snappy. He prayed that Emma would somehow understand.

Something was itching Hook’s mind all day. How did he never hear of a beautiful lass like Emma before? Whenever there was a beautiful girl his crew would talk about her, just not to Hook’s face. They knew what happened with Milah and were careful how they spoke around him; however, he was always listening.

Emma was strikingly beautiful no one could deny that, except maybe Emma herself. From her golden, wavy hair, her curves, her tiny waist, legs, and her style. She had this courage, that even Hook could see, that made him envious. Everything about her made Hook’s stomach do flips and somersaults.

If someone had seen her before the curse they would of said something. She wasn’t like most girls in the kingdom. Most girls would hide and wait for their knight in shining armor to save her, but he could tell Emma would just save herself. He admired that.

It was as if she appeared out of nowhere. Maybe she did. Maybe be she was the crocodile in disguise. What if she is? Hook thought, but then pushed the thought away because the crocodile wouldn’t be able to make someone that elaborate. He was comforted by that fact, but it still didn’t help. Why did she come from? What made her so magical?

(A/N) Sorry for another short chapter. I just felt really bad since I hadn’t updated since Christmas Eve.  As always thanks for reading and commenting. Please comment it actually encourages me to update sooner. I mean I probably won’t update on by a comment like ‘more’ but maybe like a longer more sincere comment. I love you all. I’ll try to update soon but no promises again, this week is exam week. YAY! Wish me luck. Don’t forget the best comment gets the chapter dedicated to them. (:

I dedicate this chapter to @broadwayg. Your comment still means a lot to me, I struggle writing the crews point of view and sometimes consider erasing it. So thank you!

Love you all. XOXO
