So the citations are because I just copied this from my file already done for school, and we kind of get it drilled into us to use citations, a warning before reading, seeing as this was a school project there was requirements so it might seem a little odd.
"Hello, hello
Anybody out there? Cause I don't hear a sound
Alone, alone
I don't really know where the world is but I miss it now"
(Jason Walker, Echo, lines 1-4)
I am Gilbert Beilschmidt or königreich preußen, Prussia,
Sometimes I feel like I don't exist
I don't know if it's me or the world that is gone
But I feel all alone
" I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough"
(Jason Walker, Echo, lines 5-8)
I am Ivan Braginski or Россия (Rossiya), Russia,
I put on a smile, like I'm alright
But on the inside I'm calling out for someone to save me
But I feel like it's useless
"Cause my echo, echo
Is the only voice coming back
Shadow, shadow
Is the only friend that I have"
(Jason Walker, Echo, lines 9-12)
I am Ludwig Beilschmidt or Deutschland, Germany,
I have made many mistakes I regret
But the world keeps blaming me
I feel like I'm my only friend
"Listen, listen
I would take a whisper if that's all you had to give
But it isn't, is it?
You could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head"
(Jason Walker, Echo, lines 13-16)
I am Alfred F. Jones or The United States of America,
I struggle to be heard, to be a hero
But I'm treated like an idiot
I don't feel like the hero, I need one
"I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough"
(Jason Walker, Echo, lines 17-20)
