Meeting My Love

 Ariana's POV  

Three years tomorrow. He's been mine for THREE WHOLE YEARS.  I love him. We started dating a month before he auditioned for the X Factor. We were friends before then, but we only dated for the past three years. I'm really close with the other boys, but Niall is mine. 

*FLASHBACK*

I was in Ireland, visiting my uncle, my usual summer break since I was 14 , Niall and I were going to meet up at Nando's. Our restaurant. He ordered the same thing as always; a chicken wrap, double portion of PERi-PERi chips, corn on the cob, 5 hot wings, and a drink, and for once, I said “I'll have the same."

"Nice order. I see you’re taking after me," he said. I laughed and said, "As you know I'm a messy eater," as our food came.

"Because I could forget," Niall said mockingly. We laughed and pigged out. I loved his accent. It was SO romantic and cute! We finished eating, and I had an hour and a half before I had to be back at my uncle's. We walked around and caught up on each other's lives. Not that we don't text, talk, e-mail, and Skype, but the time difference makes it hard, and we're both so busy. He told me that he was auditioning for the X Factor, and I was so happy! I knew he had always wanted to become a singer (he has an AMAZING voice), but now he was going to make his dream come true. We laid down in our usual spot, and we looked at the sunset. There weren't any other people there, and we intertwined fingers, and were just… peaceful. He said, "Hey Ar, can I tell you something? Something that I’ve wanted to say for a long time." 

"Anything," I answer.

"I want to be more than friends," he says. "I want you to be mine."

"Oh Niall," I say, sitting up. He immediately shoots up and looks worried. "I've wanted you to be mine for so long, I just haven't had the courage to ask." He relaxes and says "Phew! I thought you were going to say no!" he lies back down. I lie down next to him and we relax again.

"Niall," I begin, "I feel like a huge weight has been lifted."

"Me too," he said. We laid like that for a while. Then, I looked at my watch and groaned.

"Whats wrong?" Niall asked. "I have to go," I said, slowly getting up.

"Aww! Not just yet."

"I'm gonna be late, Niall."

"Aww okay," he said sadly, "let me walk you home."

"Ok!" I said enthusiastically. As we walked we talked. 

"I'm really glad we had that…talk before," he said. "So am I," I said.

"REALLY happy," he said. 

"I can't imagine a world without you," I said, cutting him off.

"Me neither," he said.

"Well, I better get going," I said.

"Okay, meet you tomorrow at the ice cream shop?" he asked

"It's a date," I said.  

And that's how we started dating. I flew in to be there for his audition. He was number 232677. I waited backstage next to him as he rehearsed. Then when he went, I watched with his family as he sang, and got the judges' feedback.  Voting time. One yes, then 2, 3, 4!!! HE MADE IT!!!! He came backstage and we hugged, both in tears. He hugged the rest of his family, then he and I walked off, holding hands. 

"I'm glad you came with me today," he said.

"Me too," I said.

"I love you too much," he said.

"I love you, too. Why else would I be here?!" I replied. We laughed and then, as if on cue, we kissed. Passionately. It was amazing.  

(Back to the present)

Now he's touring the world in One Direction. I come with them sometimes. I hang out with Zayn's girlfriend, Sophie, and Louis's girlfriend, Eleanor. I'm really good friends with them. We love shopping in the foreign countries together.
