My Surprise

Niall's POV

"I love her. We've been dating for almost 3 years, and I don't know what to do for our 3-year anniversary," I say to Louis. 

"I dunno," he says digging into a bag of chips. 

"HEY! SHARE!" I yell. We were on the bus waiting until the others came back so we could head to the hotel. We had 2 weeks until the next show, so we were just going to chill in the hotel, look around Paris, and catch up on sleep. Lou and I were checking our Twitters and stuff.

"I was thinking of buying her a promise ring," I say. 

"A what??" Louis asks.

"A promise ring. It's like a ring symbolizing your devotion," I say.

"Why don't you just marry her already?!" He asked laughing at his own not funny joke.

"Because we're both too busy. Me with the band, and her with her designing."

"Whatever," Louis says with a mouthful of chips.

"We're back!" I hear Zayn yell as he gets on the bus.

"We brought you something Niall!!" Liam say.

"Huh?" I ask. I was looking up rings when I hear; "Hey, cutie," Ariana!

"Oh my gosh!!" I yell "I thought your train came tomorrow!" I say full of joy, hugging her.

"Tricked ya!" She says. "I asked Zayn to pick me up, and Liam and Harry tagged along. Hey Lou! How've you been?" She asks hugging Louis.

"Good," he says, "and you?"

"Great!" she replies. "Niall, can I talk to you alone for a second?" 

"Sure," I say, concerned. 

"Don't worry," she says, "your not in trouble." She leads me outside, and I don't know what to expect.

  "So tomorrow's our day," she starts.

"How could I forget?" I ask.

"I don't know, but I'm taking you somewhere special."

"No. Let ME take YOU somewhere," I say.

"You ALWAYS take me places. Now let ME take YOU somewhere."

"Where?" I ask cautiously.

"It's a surprise, smart one." She says sarcastically.

"Well, I have a surprise for YOU," I say.

"I can't wait!" She says. We head to the hotel and the room has two full size beds. We get into pajamas, and sit on my bed talking so much, Harry walks in in his boxers and yells "SHUT UP, YOU TWO!!!! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!!"

"Sorry," we whisper at the same time. We both laugh like crazy at that. 

"OH. MY. GOSH. SHUT UP!!!" he screams, then closes the door.

"Someone needs a happy meal," she says. I laugh and say, "You have no idea."

"Now get some sleep," she says getting up to go to her bed. I grab her waist, and yank her back.

"Come lay here for a bit," I say.

"All right," she says smiling. We lay holding hands with intertwined fingers.

"This is how we lay on the night you became my boyfriend," she remarks. 

"Ya," I say. "Three years ago, tonight."

"Uh huh," she says and yawns as she says, "Good night!" 

"G'night!" I reply. And we fell asleep like that.

*THE NEXT MORNING*  

I wake up and smell coffee. 

" 'Morning sleepyhead!" She says.

"Huh?" I say. "It's 8:30, Niall. I got you some coffee."

"Thanks," I say rubbing my eyes, and drinking my Frappuccino.

"Get dressed, your surprise awaits," she says.

"Yours too, sweetie." I can send Liam to pick up the ring, right? I paid for it online already. I'll ask him later, I think to myself.

"I need to go for a little while," she says, "but I'll be back at 10:00." And she's gone. I have a little while. I call Liam, and ask him to pick up the ring and text him the address and information.

"You're a LIFE SAVER, Liam. Thank you." I say.

"No sweat, Niall," he says.  I get up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and run to the store, and buy a bouquet of roses, Ari's favorite. Then I get back to the hotel and look at the time; 9:50. Just in time! I think to myself. Liam's on his way to get the ring, Ariana texted me and is on her way up, and it was all good. THE ROSES! Where would I hide them until I get the ring and back to the hotel?!  Zayn and Liam's room! Zayn'll probably just sleep all day, and Liam would put the ring near the roses,  and I'd ask Liam to drop them off at the park. Great! I ran over, explained it to a half-awake Zayn, and put the roses in a glass with some water. I ran back to the room just as Ariana was coming in. 

"Let's go, Niall! Your surprise awaits!"

"I can't wait!" I say excitedly.
