Oh my lord what do I say? He was smiling at me!!!

"H-hi, um hello" I mumbled.

Way to go Lucy, way to go, you're a genius. He chuckled at me and gave me his signature smile. "So Luce, I was wondering if you would like to hangout sometime."

I'm dreaming, no way... I give myself a hard pinch to the arm, I'm actually awake, this is actually happening.

A choked sound came out of my mouth, "I'd love to"

"Great" he stated and gave me a heart squeezing smile and did something I would never expect, he sat down beside me.

Cue the fan girl moment. AHHHHHH

"So, what do you like to do for fun?" he asked me. "Actually let's just play 20 questions, since I don't know much about you and I want to know everything if were going to be best friends."

Did he just friendzone me? Oh well then we'll have to work with the cliché bestfriend love thing.

"Okay.....well I love reading, binge watching Once Upon A Time and food" I stated, finally getting comfortable talking with him. He laughed and said "Your turn."

"Hm, well then what's your favourite icecream flavor?"

"Vanilla"

"So boring" I said with a smile on my face.

"What's your favorite food?" He asked me.

"Pizza, pizza is a gift from God" I stated, true to my word.

We spent the whole lunch period after that getting to know each other.

On my way to class after lunch, I was stopped by Emma. "Hey Lucy, how are you?"

"I'm okay. I didn't see you at lunch today" I replied but I sounded way to desperate.

"Oh, ya, I was sitting with Emily and her friends, I wasn't planning to because she was really rude to you yesterday but she apologized to me and said that you could sit with them to but I saw that you were sitting with a boy so I just let it be. I'm sorry"

I didn't know what to think. There is no way that Emily would voluntarily let me sit at the same table as her. Something was going on.

"The boy, his name is Noah right?"

"Yes....."

"Is he your boyfriend?" She asked with a serious face.

I laughed "Nope, just a friend."

"Do you like him?" I considered telling her but I didn't know her so I said that I didn't and that we were just friends.

"Oh, he's my biology partner." "He seems nice"

I should've noticed something at that time, her weird questioing, but I was too blind too see what was happening.
