IChapter 5 : The Loss Of Blood

Dustins Pov

But really .. I don't think that kid is stable.  He is really shook up so I'll just leave him to Stacy.  I ask " What do you guys want to breakfast".  Stacy says " oh, just some cereal for me ". Adam says  " I'm not really hungry".  I start making bowls of cereal.  I watch as Stacy deals with adam.Stacy says " I know that what you have been through is hard, but you don't need to threaten someone else's life".Adam says "I just felt like what mom did to me was my fault for a long time until I figured it out.

That it wasn't my fault that it was her fault. But I told myself that  I would protect you from anyone who tried to do the same to me ".  Wow that is some deep stuff .  I drop the cereal Bowl being nosey into there conversation. " Sorry" I say . Stacy looks back me and gives a little glare. I look at her her and continue making the cereal.

StacysPov

Dustin need to calmdown with them bowls back there in the kitchen . lol. I say "Adam you need some sleep you just almost killed someone today so even if you aren't tired you are going to think about what you did and how to prevent your self from doing it again".

Adam walks into the bedroom and closes closest he door. I walk over to island in in the kitchen and and sit and sit down In one of the bar stools. Dustin asks " Is he gonna be ok ?". I say " I hope so ..". Dustin says " With you talking to him he is - A gun shot go off . I say " Damn!!! I forgot to take the gun away! Adam!!. Me Me and Dustin run into the bedroom. There is blood all over the wall the window. I fall to my knees . And faint...

Dustins Pov

She just passed out. Ughh it smells like blood in here. I pick Stacy up from off the floor and lay her on the couch. I go back into my room and see a note next to Adams lifeless body.

The note reads " Dear Dustin and Stacy, I know by the time you read this note I won't be alive. I couldn't live with my self . About to kill someone and since I don't think I deserve to live  and since commiting suicide is a sin I will be with the other bad people of this world . But dont worry I will watch you from below.  -Take care , Adam.

Wow this kid was the wisest kid I have ever met.

But  what am I going to do with his body.  I just can't leave leave it here because Stacy will wake up come in here and faint again . But she probably want me to have proper burial. I get a large duffle bag and some gloves from the kitchen closet.I put the gloves on and put his body in the duffle bag and put it by the door.

Stacy wakes up. She comes into the bed room. She gulps . I say "it's ok I already removed his body and stated to clean it up". Stacy says "I'll be outside". I say "um.. Stacy ur still in just a bra and underwear". Stacy says do you have a long shirt . I grab one from my drawer and toss it too her . She drops her town and puts on on the shirt and walks outside. I wish she wasn't so skittish. 

Stacy's Pov

I start to sniffle. Ugh I know my mom said smoking is bad for me. But what does she know. Maybe Dustin has a smoke.I  go back inside . " Dustin do you have any cigarettes? " I ask . Dustin peeks outside of his bedroom bedroom and says " Um.. yea . Why?" He asks. I say " I need to smoke.. why else"? He says " well  u are only 14 ". I say " Turning 15 next week and I think I deserve one".

Why is he worrying about me like that. It's none of his business to know If I smoke or not . He says " Well still you shouldn't you are only cutting your life short". " As you said My life so I can do what I want to it, not where are the cigars?"I say. He points to the linen  closet. He says " top shelf ". He goes back into his bed room. I roll my eyes.  and go into the linen closet and find find the cigarette pack. I grab the cigarette pack and the lighter from off the kitchen counter.

There is is a knock at the door.

I say " I got it Dustin ". I open the door ..It's my dad .  I ask " What are you doing here ?!?!?!". He says " I came home because your mother told me you and your brother ran away".But how did he know I was here . I ask"But how did you find me?". He says " I saw you when you came outside earlier . I was going to the house.".

I say "Well .. you didn't need me before and certainly don't need you now ." I try to close the door. He holds the door so that it can't close and he opens it again. I ask " What do you want from me?". He says " To see my baby girl agi"- Dustin yells from the other room " Who was at the door ?".  My dad says " Well who is that?" . I say " No one you will ever meet. Now you can leave". He pushes past me to get inside..

Dustin comes out and says " Who is this ???" . My dad says " Her Father that's who I am". I say "Yea but he wont leave ". He slaps me across the face and says you dont ever listen do you...
