It was a lot of money,
Money that I didn't have.
Money that I would never have.
But I wanted it,
I wanted it so bad.
But I couldn't have it.
Why couldn't it be cheaper?
Did the world not want me to have it?
Did the world not want me to be happy?
Maybe so.
"Don't worry bear, you'll get it one day!" My boyfriend of two years said.
"Its too much money Vik, I could never afford it." I replied sadly.
I was sad,
more than sad.
I was devastated.
I'm so stupid,
I got my hopes up.
Not realizing how much it would be.
We walked out of the building, hand in hand.
And for the thousandth time in my life,
I wished I wasn't like this.
I wished I was normal.

Vik's pov
Three months
It's been three months since my lover found out he couldn't afford it.
It's been two months since I started saving up,
every dollar I had in my savings account,
every dollar my parents could give me,
every dollar I've earned since then.
all going to a very special thing.
It's been one month since I got enough for it.
And in exactly half an hour,
I will tell the love of my life the good news.
Third person pov
"Ethan, I have something to tell you." Vik rushed out cutting off his boyfriends story about how their friends Harry and Josh were now together.
"What is it angel?"
Getting off the couch, the cinnamon skinned boy slowly walked over to the other
grabbed both or his hands
looked into his eyes
smiled and said
"I can pay for your top surgery"
Tears of joy ran down the elders face as he laughed.
"Really?" he asked with an uncertain but gentle voice.
"Yes." was all the other could muster out as his pale partner pulled him into a loving hug.
"I love you so much, thank you."
"I love you too."
Ethan was more than happy, he could finally have what he's wanted for years.
And it was all because of his lover.
