Zombie apocalypse au

The pack lost Jerome first.
Saving the group from a herd,
he died a hero.
Mitch was next.
He wanted to be with his lover,
killing himself as the group slept.
Preston and Rob died shortly after.
They got taken by some bad people,
cut, bruised and beaten till they couldn't take it.
They both bled out.
Vik and Lachlan were getting hunted.
The people wanted them as their slaves,
But they were fighters.
They refused to give up.
They ran, and ran, and ran,
Until they couldn't anymore.
The people found them,
things turned for the worst.
It was a trap,
They ran straight into a trap.
They didn't want them as their slaves.
They wanted Lachlan dead,
And that's how it happened.
Vik was the only one left.
Kneeling in front of his friends dead body,
Gun in hand ready do go himself.
Footsteps pulled him out of his thoughts.
Thinking it was the same group he didn't move,
They stopped only feet behind him.
"Vik?"
Silence
"Vik, please."
Silence again
Until
A growl was heard.
Heads turned to the place of the noise.
It was Lachlan.
He had turned.
Gun raising,
finger on the trigger,
grip tightening,
heads turned away.
Bang
An echo of a gunshot,
a strangled sob,
the gun dropping out of his grip.
He turned around.
His once starry eyes were dull,
face streaked with tears.
"Dead, they're all dead."
Simon rushed forwards first,
pulling the broken boy into a comforting embrace.
One by one,
They all joined the hug.
All of them happy they found the one person they'd been looking for, for over a year.
But sad that he had lost everything he had.
Slowly but surely they mended his broken heart,
And slowly but surely the group of seven survived the apocalypse and lived a somewhat happy life in space.

Honestly didn't know how else a zombie apocalypse could end. Sorry for the bad ending.
