Everyday after that, we would talk for hours. We found out that we even live in the same state, which I thought was awesome. To me it seemed like it was only me and her on the earth, nothing else mattered. Little did I know, I wasn't alone. I looked over my shoulder and saw Ashton, but she wasn't awake. We had a rough night the day before, and we were both extremely tired. I guess she came in here while I was paying attention to Benson, and she fell asleep on my back. She always says, "Who needs a dad when you have Ryan?" The first time she said that, it hit me really hard. I guess that I was a big part of her life, I basically helped raise her. I gently moved a pillow under her head and covered her with a blanket. I didn't want to wake her, so I just continued talking to Benson. We told each other about our pasts, about what was going on right now, and what we wanted to do in the future. After a while, I fell completely asleep. So there we were. Me and Ashton. We just stayed there for hours, motionless. Even Noodle fell asleep, but eventually she farted and scared herself awake, along with Ashton and I. We just laughed for a while, mainly because Noodle was jumping around like a maniac trying to figure out where the sound came from. While Ashton was playing with Noodle on the floor, I checked my phone and it had a notification from one of the stores in the mall that there's a huge sale going on today only. It's my favorite store, and I just got my allowance money. So I call Kyler to come and pick me up.
Eventually he shows up, and we leave for the mall. When we get there, I literally run to the store. There's this shirt I've been eyeballing for a while now, but I couldn't afford it. Now because of the sale, I can get my shirt. I run in smiling like I had won the lottery, only to find out my shirt was gone. The clerk said that someone had just bought the last one, and they were walking out of the store. I decided to go and see if I could buy it from them.
"Excuse me," I started. "I was just wondering, I've been loo-" I stopped in my tracks. As the stranger turned around to face me, it wasn't a stranger. It was the person I've been talking to for days. Is this a dream? Is this where we meet?
