Chapter 5: Eyes Open

I liked the picture and closed Instagram. Great now I have haters. Opening Instagram again I posted a pic of Mitch and me kissing. I put in the caption "Love my boyfriend so much! @bajancanadian #bajancanadian #boyfriend" Hopefully the fangirls would see it. "That's risky Gabs." Mitch said "I know that's why I did it." I smirked. Instantly I got likes and comments like "Who are you?" and "SO YOUR THE GIRL MITCH WAS TALKING ABOUT!" I didn't care. I kissed Mitch. "GET A ROOM YOU GUYS!!!" The guys yelled from the back porch. Laughing I yelled back "WHY DONT Y'ALL COME DOWN HERE? LET'S ALL GO FOR A TRAIL RIDE?" They were silent for a bit and then answered back "YEAH WE'LL GO! BUT WERE GONNA GO CHANGE!" I got Amnesia from his stall and started to brush him off. Adam, Jason, Jerome and Ian all walked down in riding clothes from my clothes line. I smiled "I wonder who designed those pants?" They all laughed and got their horses. Adam on Flight, Jason on Cascade, Jerome on Twilight and Ian on Timber. "Alright Amnesia and I will lead, Mitch and Duke follow me." I stated. "Until were on the trail single file." I added. We all walked out to the trail in the woods.

Mitch lined Duke up next to Amnesia. "What you posted is out there babe, there's no going back." Mitch pointed out. "Yeah I know. I just want to see what the fans will think." I told him.

"It wasn't the smartest thing you've ever done."

"That's why I did it." I smirked.

"That's why I love you." Mitch told me. "You guys up for a race?" I turned and asked them. They all nodded. We all lined up side by side. I counted down. "3...2...1... GO!" I kicked Amnesia into a full extended gallop. After all he used to race. All too soon I was in 1st and the guys weren't even close to me. There was the finish! "GO AMNESIA! RUN!" We galloped over the finish. I slowed down to a walk and cooled him off. "HEY THATS NOT FAIR! AMNESIA USED TO RACE!" Adam called. "WE WON FAIR AND SQUARE!" I called back
