Ugh it sounds like an alarm. Wait... an alarm??
Crap. The alarm!! I lift my heavy head from my pillow pet. I reach for my glasses on my desk and look at the time. 7:04 am... so I have just enough time to shower and eat breakfast on the go. And maybe catch a few precious minutes of sleep.
I leap from the bed (yea right, more of a slow turtle crawl) and make my way over to the bathroom. I somehow manage to trip in air and do a face plant. (Don't ask me how.) That's gonna leave a nasty bruise. I quickly brush my teeth and shower, and I'm out by 7:22am. No time for extra sleep, unfortunately. I apologize to my brain and promise for a quick nap when I get home. I grab my car keys and run out the door with my lunch box in hand, which contains my whole wheat toast and protein shake. Gee, thanks mom.
My morning is a blur. I can barely concentrate as my eye lids are voluntarily shutting, considering the fact that I only slept for 5 hours. That's usually the amount of sleep I get every night. My homework load is intense, considering the fact that I am taking 8 courses, 3 of them being sciences, and I'm only in the 10th grade. Yea, you could call me the overachiever, but I don't necessarily do good in all my classes.
I am a nerd, I can easily say that. I am in the math club and science competition.
Oh, I also happen to have won the award for "The Biggest Klutz in The World".... Like you saw earlier when I happened to trip over air. But honestly, I walk into walls that I SWEAR aren't there a second before I walk into them. What else about me? Oh I can solve the Rubik's cube. (Yep, that cube with all the 9 colors and you have to match up.) My record at the moment happens to be 59 seconds... I'm still working on it.
Ah, finally!! The bell.
I try to dash for the door but I'm stopped by Miss I-AM-A-SLUT. Like seriously, she has her perfectly tanned arm around a different guy every week. Seems like it should be the other way around, right? Well lemme tell you.. This girl doesn't give a crap about anyone. I feel so bad of the guys that she dates. She mainly takes advantage of their money and makes them go shopping with her.
"Move aside, loser!" She practically screams in my face even though I'm like a foot away from her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had sight problems too," I reply.
I walk away before she can realize what I just said to her. I turn around to see her glaring at me, which makes my day a whole lot better. Just before I'm about to turn around, I walk right into a wall. (Yeah, you read that correctly.) I see her laughing her ass off, and I try to get up but someone helps me up instead. I grab the hand that's held out for me and launch myself up, and turn around to thank the person. Instead, I'm met with the most gorgeous blue eyes anyone could ever own. (This is the part where I start hyperventilating.)
I'm just standing there with my mouth agape like a dessert addict looking at cake. (I may be referring to myself.) The most insanely gorgeous boy is looking at me. Holy shit.
"Hey, I'm Ethan. Ethan Young."
OMG, the Greek god speaks!! Mind you, I'm still standing here with my mouth wide open, a fly ready to buzz in there any second.
"H-Hey, uhhhh my name is Mikaela Woods."
"That's pretty."
"Um.. Thanks."
He gives me a huge grin. A heart-stopping grin. "Sorry," I say. "I tend to run into things a lot. Like I'm so good that I can trip over air." I look down, trying my best not to show that I'm practically drooling at his face. He happens to be extremely sexy, which doesn't make it any better.
"Hahahaha.. you're too funny. Ok, well I have to get going. I have soccer practice now. I'll see you later, Mikaela!"
"Nice meeting you!" I yell back.

Hey guys! I'm soooo sorry, I've been practically MIA for a while now. Like I'll occasionally check my messages but I forget to respond!! Again I'm really sorry, I've been super busy this month. And I've been wanting to start writing an actual book.... so here is the start of it!
