Goodbye To A World

haha this is chapter 1

~main character's pov~

I was running like a mad man just trying to get out of here. The hallways are so dark, the only things letting off light is the lava slowly coming down the walls,i've got to get out of here! I'm just a little girl just trying to stay alive..I'm alone..I have nobody with me..

~flashback~
"Go taylor go! We'll be fine..we'll see each other again again. I promise" my mother pushed me away from the cell she was in,"go to the over world it's the only place where you can be safe...now go before they catch you!" I nodded slightly running into the hallway trying to keep back my tears, I stopped and look back at my mother who was leaning against the bars of the cell..she was smiling a bit and tearing up waiting for me to get out of sight. I wiped my tears away and started running down the hall way again.

~flashback over, now back to the present~

I'm so close I can make it! I was out the building heading straight for the portal in front of me, in the distance I heard sirens in coming from the building I just left. They noticed I was gone!..and that's the moment when I bolted towards the portal, "come on!..come on!" I was only a few feet away. I've finally made it to portal, but I looked back at the building and sighed before a walked I stepped in and left.

Now I've never been to the overworld, never in my life, I lived my whole life in the end so this all new to me. I stepped out the portal and looked around, "I guess I'm in front of a forest?.." I question, "but I shouldn't stop.." I ran into the forest when I heard someone in the distance yelling. "Where is she?!" I gasped and hid behind a tree, I was alone,scared, and worried.."DON'T JUST STAND AROUND!!FIND HER!!" I heard the same voice yell, I leaned against the tree and fell to floor. I hugged my knees crying quietly just wanting this nightmare to end...I heard a kind, sweet voice in my ears, "are..are you alright?.." I looked up and say a women standing in front of me with a worried face. "W-what?.." I asked her, trying to stop crying, "are you ok?.." she asked me once more, I shook my head slowly and looked away from her shaking from head to toe. "Hey don't worry..." she sat on her knees to look at me better, "I won't hurt you" she smiled. She seemed nice...she had blond hair, blue eyes, and she was wearing some kind of dark blue cloak. "Y-you won't?.." my words came out shaky as I spoke, she shook her head and held her hand put, " I saw you running out the portal, you're someone from the end aren't you?" She asked. I nodded, "well, I wanted to make sure you are ok...and it looks like they were trying to catch you...come with me... i'll keep you safe" she smiled still holding out her hand, I hesitated but I grabbed her hand. I know it's not a good idea to trust strangers...but in my situation..she seems nice enough to trust, she stood up and held my hand, "come on, let's get out of here before they find us" I nodded a bit, " t-thank you...so much.." she smiled and nodded as we walked deeper into the forest.
