Goodbye To A World

chapter 3: explaining some of the past

I sighed, "well, u-umm..while we were being captured...I..stayed close to my mom...I wondered off a bit away from her a bit and I really wish I didn't..." my words trailed off after I said that. Jason looked at me still having her confused expression, listening to every word I was saying.

"There were..these machine around the area we were in..and being the kid I was I walked over to one...people looked like they didn't even care...that was till I noticed something was causing it to tip over...I wasn't quick enough to get away and...my arm and leg was crushed..." I started fidgeting around with my shirt, which is something I do when I'm upset and nervous. Jason looked at me with shocked eyes, she seemed speechless..heh I would be too if someone told me the same story..

"Once it happened everyone turned their attention to me and tried to get me out from under there, when they got me out they noticed as to be expected my leg and arm were completely crushed...there was blood everywhere and yeah...my parents ran over to me and tried to calm me down, the others trying to stop the blood..I was terrified..I thought I..was gonna die..of course the guards of the Nether didn't care..they just told us to keep moving..." I sighed and scratched my head, "they put us in our cells not knowing what they were gonna do..I was shaking, scared, in pain..it was a nightmare.."

"I bet it was...that's horrible.." I nodded.

"Yeah it was till..someone came down to where I was..I'm guessing she was a scientist by the way she looked, she told me to come with her so I did. She carried me to a lab of some sort and lifted me up so I was sitting on the table, she told me to stay calm and that she was gonna help me. She laid me down the table. I still remember how cold that table was." I chuckled, "last thing I know I  blacked out and I woke up feeling strange. She helped me sit up and looked over myself and I had an robotic arm and leg. "I finished off my sentence quickly and looked back up at my care taker.

"Wow,you sound like you've been so much.." I nodded.

"I guess..but I'm alright now, I guess that's all that matters right now" I chuckled and she nodded, her confused face turned onto a smile. I blinked and she laughed.

"Hey, can I give you something?" She asked me, tilting her head.

"Um sure I guess" I answered back. She smiled and she held her hands together, I noticed that they glowed a bit which confused me. A few seconds later she opens her hand to reveal an amulet in her hand.

"What is it?" I tilted my head a bit getting up to look at it.
