Day Two
1: Pick up your school supplies from the Book Office on campus after getting ready for the day.
2: Take books back to your room and prepare for your first class that takes place in the evening.
3: Take what you need for your night class back to campus.
4: Meet Flora Rose.
How do I just meet Flora Rose? Will she be in my class or should I find her before then?
Will she be easy to find? Is campus big?
Sighing, I throw on some fresh clothes and pull my empty backpack onto my back, disregarding my internal questions. My watch tells me it's 9 a.m. so I decide it's appropriate to leave now.
The walk from here to campus is short, maybe twelve minutes. This makes me happy because I won't have to pay for transport or any of that rubbish. Plus the scenery along the way is not hideous or anything.
The moment I step on to campus I'm in awe, it's such a beautiful school. With green grass everywhere and pebble pathways across it that lots of students are walking along. It's like a big field adorned in only slight man made structure.
People young, and old, walk around campus, sometimes disappearing into classrooms and sometimes sitting down on a bench to rest and talk with their friends.
The buildings are obviously aged but have been modernised. All in all it's quite a stylish school, clad with lots of luscious trees around the place.
I smile at everyone I pass as I follow a pathway, in search of the Book Office, but I just can't find it.
I decide I'll just have to ask for directions from somebody and so I look around for a friendly face.
I'm slightly stunned to see who's sitting not a few metres away from me on a bench as I look around for someone who can give me directions.
Well, so what if we were scheduled to met later? She may not be here later, but she's here now.
I casually, or at least I hope it appears as casually, approach her but she doesn't notice. Her eyes stay glued to the tiny font laced over the ageing white pages of a book on her lap.
"Hello." I speak, smirking a little when she looks up in such a rush.
"H-hello?" She almost questions me, her voice soft.
She looks down at her book quickly, folding over the corner of her page so she can find where she's up to later and places it on the seat beside her, looking up at me as I speak again.
"My name is Harry Styles and I was just wondering if you could point me in the direction of the book office?" I ask, my voice laced with friendliness.
Flora Rose seems slightly unsure. I suppose I expected as much, though.
"Oh, ah, sure, ah, um. It's behind the cafe. Down the slight alley between the library and the cafe." She explains but it doesn't particularly help me as I don't know where either the Library or the Cafe is.
"Oh, okay. So um, where's that? Like, what direction from here? This is my first day so I don't know where anything is." I tell her, hoping for a mere nod in the direction of where I'm headed.
Instead though, Flora simply begins to place all of her belongings into a brown satchel sat beside her. I'm afraid she's going to just stand up and leave but to my astonishment she gets up off of the seat and stands in front of me.
