Lies

Chapter 1

As Alexa Renaldo left her apartment complex she saw a man staring at her but she just ignored him. She went to go to get her nails done with her best friend Alexis. As she got there she saw Alexis so she parked next to her and got out.

"Hey!" She said with excitement in her voice. "What color do you pl-"

Alexa  interrupted her and said "Hey what would you do if you saw a man staring at you as you exited your apartment building?" She asked with worry in my voice.

She said "I would probably contact the apartment manger or the head of security, why do you ask?"

"There was a man staring at me when I left to come here." Alexa said and then she said "We're here to have fun not to worry, let's go inside now." They agreed and we walked inside and we picked our colors Alexa picked a light blue and Alexis picked a lilac.

"Let's not worry about this any more and have fun." Alexis said. Alexa agreed.

As they left Alexa saw the same man so she went up to him and asked "Why the heck are you following me around!" She yelled.

He said "I was just looking at how beautiful you are." She blushed.

She said "But why did you have to follow me to tell me"

"Well it had to be a good way to get your attention." He said "Anyway to you want to go get some food later tonight?"

"Well it would be nice if you knew my name first wouldn't it." Alexa said

"Well not to be creepy but I already know our name."He said.

Alexa wasn't surprised because her job had to do with the radio she had a radio show to deal with a talk show and relationships " So you do don't you well I would like to know your name now."

"Where are my manners my name is Ev--"

Alexis interrupted and said "What are you doing Alexa don't you want to eat?"

"Well I was about to come in but you had to interrupt, so I'll be right there." Alexis and Alexa we're going to qudoba to eat."Anyway what is your name again?"

"My name is Evan." He said then he said "Would You like to go out to get something to eat?" He asked.

She said "I would love to, where to?"

"Would Applebee's work?" He asked.

She agreed then he left in his Chevy pickup truck. Alexa walked in side and ordered she order a burrito with steak and Alexis orders a taco salad. Alexis asked Alexa asked "Who was he, if I were you I wouldn't be able to contain my excitement is he'd asked me out, I mean look at him he's buff and had nice facial features like a beard nice brown eyes, so did he ask you out?"

"Maybe." Alexa said with a playful grin" after they were done eating they said bye and Alexa tree away her receipt went home to see what to wear.

Alexa went down stairs to answer the door because it rang Alexa has a two story apartment. She went to answer the door but it wasn't Evan it was cardboard box from Amazon she figured it was the make-up brushes she ordered a couple days before. A few minutes later the door bell rang a second time and it was Evan she didn't open the brown package because she didn't want to put them away so she left the on her table.

"You sure look beautiful" Evan said to Alexa. He drove her in his Chevy pickup truck and of they went to Applebee's.

"Do you want to sit at the bar or booth" The waitress that had a name tag that read Amy said.

Evan asked Alexa where she wanted to sit she wanted to sit at the bar so they did. Evan said "don't even try to pay its all on me."

"No are you sure" She asked he nodded she ordered a cheese burger and fries and he ordered a cheese burger and onion rings.

"What do you want to drink" The bar tender asked Alexa and Evan he said a beer and Alexa wanted a Bloody Mary.

They finished up and Evan payed "Thank you for taking me out I haven't been out in a while I appreciate it." Alexa said.

"Your welcome"Evan said. He dropped her off at her apartment building and she gave him a peck on the cheek and she left.

As she unlocked the door and entered her apartment she saw the box on the table and decided to open. As she opened it she couldn't move, she froze in terror.
