The next day was, well, ordinary. Sorta. I went to school, met my friends and talked with Isaac first thing. When class started Mrs Lance held up my one chapter and read it aloud, turning my face red with embarrassment.

She was reading my fantasy, my day dreams to the class! I sunk into my seat, running my hands down my face. Maya and Demi looked at each other, patting my shoulders as my teacher finished. The class erupted in clapter, some even turning around to smile at me.

I smiled back with hesitation, standing to bow and taking my seat right away. Class finished soon after.

I walked through the front door, behind my brothers. They were laughing, why? I was soaked, as they dumped a bucket of ice cold water on me as I walked from the front doors. I was shivering, my hair sticking to my face.

As soon as I was inside I screamed out to my mom, "Mum! The boys dumped a bucket of water on me! Mom!" Soon my parents ran into the main foyer, eyes wide.

"Go change and quickly! We have a visitor!" Dad said hushed. I look to my brothers, confused.

"Who?" Lucas asks. A lady in a grey suit walks in, looking professional. A man, tall with muscles and dressed in a black suit with black glasses walks in behind her.

The lady stops beside our parents, looking over us all. My clothes are starting to peel from my skin, becoming baggy and ugly looking. I cast a quick glance at the boys.

"I am Rita Bones, I work for the queen of England." She looks at us over her half-moon glasses and sighs. "Perhaps you should change; you all look rather dreadful." Mum shoos us up to our rooms with a wave of her wrist.

I lead, turning to my brothers half way up. "What's someone who works for the Queen doing here?" I grumble, peaking over the railing. Mum was talking wildly to Rita, dad standing behind her and sizing up the man in black.

"Who knows, just keep going before we get yelled at again!" Charlie rushes us up. We all file into our rooms, changing quickly. I grab a head band and throw it on quickly, replacing my soaked clothes for a new jumper and jeans. We all rush out at the same time, stumbling down the stairs.

Rita looks at us, mildly unimpressed. Suddenly she walks over to me and bows, like I was royalty or something. Mum starts chuckling crazily, smoothing down her short brown bob.

My brothers, confused at first, turn to each other in understanding. What was going on that I didn't know about? Rita stands tall, brushing off her skirt before meeting my eyes.

"I presume you're parents haven't told you, hm?" I stare at my mum and dad, brow furrowed and my hands fiddling with my jumpers strings. I shake my head.

"No, sorry. Don't know what you're talking about."

Rita sighs and turns to them, muffling a 'of course not' before turning to me. The next words made me feel like I was Harry Potter in the first book when Hagrid comes to get him on his birthday.

'Yer a wizard Harry,'

"You, Kaylin Adams are a princess, next in line for the throne of England." Everything falls silent.

"A what?" I manage. How did my life come to this?

Hello beautiful marshmallows! I've been reading the comments and OMG thank you so much! Really, it means a lot to me!

I started writing- very badly- July 1st 2016 and I feel I've come along way from then. I really enjoy writing as a pass time where I put my ideas down and create a world without exams or poverty or Trump (I live in Canada).

It's amazing you all like this book. Thank you once again for the comments and reads and votes and I apologize for the short chapter.

Love you all,

      Kayla-Jean
