Greg 10: Galactic Force Season 1

Chapter 1/Episode 1 Part 1

Greg Tennyson closed his science textbook, got out of his desk chair, and sighed. "Another detention, Tennyson?" one of the school bullies, Josh, asked, laughing.

"I believe that would be YOU, Josh," he shot back, sticking his textbook in his backpack. Josh glared and walked off. Greg's cousin Maya took his place in the doorway, her bag over her left shoulder.

"Ready to go?" she asked, fixing the sleeve of her white blouse.

"Yup," he replied, shifting his backpack onto his shoulder. "Is Aunt Gwen making dinner tonight?"

"Yes," Maya replied, flipping part of her long, waist length brown hair over her shoulder and taking her iPhone out to text her father.

"I still can't believe your father is THE Kevin Levin," Greg said out of nowhere. "My dad told me about all the fights they had when he went on that summer road trip with great grandpa Max and Aunt Gwen when they were only 10."

"Dad's changed. A lot. Besides. Uncle Ben said that Azmuth is going to give you a new version of the Omnitrix and-"

"Hey, Maya!" a voice behind them called out. They turned to see a boy about their age with jet black hair and brown eyes.

"Oh. Hey, Justin," she replied, blushing as red as her mom's hair.

"My dad just texted me and told me that there's some alien activity down at Los Soledad. He wants us to check it out," Greg broke the silence, looking down at his phone.

"He wants US to check it out?" Maya replied, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, yeah," he replied, looking at her. "I've got my Omnitrix, you have your magic, Justin inherited Cooper's abilities, and Owen is half Osmosian."

"I'm half Anodite. It isn't magic," Maya corrected.

"Let's just go,"Justin interrupted, starting for the doors. Maya gave her cousin a look and followed.

Owen stopped his car in front of Los Soledad as they all got out. Maya's eyes glowed bright pink. "I don't sense anything," she replied, her eyes going back to their normal emerald green color.

"Are you sure?" Greg asked. "My dad said-"

"Let's just check it out anyway," Owen snapped. "I don't want to have come ALL this way just for one mistake."

"Don't be such a baby, Owen," Maya snapped back, heading into the base.

"What she said," Justin agreed, following her.

"Not even gonna add to that," Greg said, following them.

Owen rolled his eyes and followed. "I don't see what the big deal is," he grumbled. "They're just-"

"Shut up," Maya interrupted, putting a hand up to stop them. "I sense something." Greg got his Omnitrix ready. A red-hooded red alien appeared.

"A Necrofriggian!" Justin exclaimed.

"Necro-what now?" Owen absorbed steel from a pipe.

"Big Chill's species," Maya snapped, mana gathering in her hands.

"Who are you and why are you here?" the Necrofriggian demanded.

"I'm Greg Tennyson," Greg stuttered. "This is my cousin Maya and our friends Justin and Owen."

"An Omnitrix bearer, half-Anodite, technology controller, and half-Omosian?" the Necrofriggian exclaimed, landing on the ground. "I've been waiting for you. GET THEM!" They all turned around to see a whole lot of aliens.

"TERPHO!" Maya shouted, sending a mana tornado as they all ran towards them.

"Let's get out of here!" Greg shouted as they all ran toward Owen's car.

"What about what Uncle Ben told us to-"

"Just drive!" Greg interrupted Owen, sticking his head in between Maya's and Owen's seats. Maya quickly put a shield around the car.

"Whoa," Justin breathed in amazement.

"It's to keep them from attacking us. You can thank my mom for teaching me that later," she replied, leaning her head against the back of her seat and sighing.

Owen pulled up to their parents' house. "Let's go in," he said, getting out and closing the door. Greg got out as well. Justin got out and opened Maya's door as she let the shield down. "You okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah," she replied. "Just tired. It's been a long night. Anyway, let's go inside and tell them what happened. They like getting reports about what happened."

"Okay," he agreed, moving a strand of hair out of her face.

The end for now..... What will happen next? Will the Necrofriggian find them and attack again? Will Maya and Owen become an official couple? Will Azmuth ever give Greg the new Omnitrix? Find out in part two :)
