I am an assassin, trained since I was born to kill without feeling a thing. I'm on my third mission, this one larger than ever, 5 boys, all I know is that their names are Quinn, Will, Aaron, Augustus, and Lloyd. I didn't know what they look like, or what they are like, nor do I care. My job is to eliminate the problem and I have, twice.
As my clothing and hair stylist picked out my clothes, she talked to me about her boyfriend, but I wasn't really listening. When she finished, she pulled out a pair of blue jeans, a black shirt with Mickey Mouse, and an oversized, deep blue jacket. "Uh, no," I said grabbing the clothes and tossing them into the chair next to me.
My clothing and hair designer, Melissa, sighed, "oh, well. I guess I'll have to tell your commander that your insubordinate and that he should give the job to another, better, protogé," she said.
"Melissa," I said, whining.
"Don't 'Melissa' me, young lady," she said, trying her best to be sturn, "now go to the changing room," she said pointing to the 'changing room', a small area separated off by only a chunk of thin, long wood, carved so it could bend to your desire. I whined again, "Go," she said with a giggle.
I grabbed the clothes and walked over behind the cover of wood. When I emerged I felt like some- some... I don't know, but I didn't like the feeling, "I look so dumb right now."
Melissa smirked, "well, at least you get to pick the shoes and make up, within reason," I rolled my eyes, I was glad to know Melissa. She was the only person who would teach me modern talk. I was glad, at least I would blend in a little bit.
After Melissa did my hair, she told me, as I walked to the mirror to look at the new me, she would come every morning to her apartment at 6:30 and not to be late getting up or showering. I nodded along until I thought she was just droning on. Tuning out, I thought about the assassination. Would I corner them somewhere? If I did would I have them alone or together? It didn't make much of a difference to men murder is murder, no matter how you do it.
