I looked at myself in the mirror, hair dried, backpack packed(say that five times fast), and makeup finished.
After about ten minutes, Melissa was done don't ng what ever useless things to my face to make me look as close to normal as possible. I hugged her and waved her goodbye.
I looked in the mirror and looking back was this high school girl looking back, nothing like me. A high school girl with not a worry in the world, especially not how she would murder five high school students in which she didn't know who they were or what they looked like. But neither did I. This would take a week max, then I was back to training for my next mission; murder, theft, or anything else, I didn't care. I am a loyal protogé that has no feeling. But that got me thinking; these students would never live full lives, their grade-mates would go on, horror stories lingering their quiet halls, worried to be the next victim. What did these boys ever do to get what's coming to them? I shook my head, 'no, you were trained for this. You don't and won't feel anything for these high schoolers. They might have done something aweful.

I tried to clear my head by looking at how different I looked. My pail skin was a bit tanner, nothing anyone would notice, but still. My hair in a high ponytail. My tan blouse neath my jacket. I was glad I was still aloud to wear my combat boots, they were from my mother before she died along with my family.

So, I walked out of my apartment and locked the door. Backpack, slung over my shoulder, I walked the short distance. A completely different girl, a completely new identity. Miranda Jordan, a regular high school student starting school in the middle of the year. Nothing wrong with that, right?
