Prologue
I will try to explain to you everything that has happened to me since I took the greatest risk of my life and joined the infamous Loki as his fateful partner in crime, but I'd have to start at the beginning, and that's what I intend to do.
Some towns talk about the circus, others talk about that new Starbucks opening down the street, our semi-large town talks of its two gangs that have more power than the Mayor himself. They own the police department; they run bars and nightclubs, cartel drugs on the streets. If you live on the south side of Warrington you're in the protection and leadership of The Ravens, if you live on the north side you belong to The Sparrows.
Of course I'm fortunate enough to live on the south side, as The Ravens treat us like human beings. The Sparrows however show no such mercy, and if you are unlucky enough to bump into them alone in the streets, you're absolutely and completely screwed.
Now, only the ones involved with the politics of Warrington, and the few that give a damn about our hopeless city, are actually aware of just how much power these gangs have. Being the daughter of the sheriff, I know all about the two gangs and how much they hate each other.
These gangs have leaders obviously, one of them being a surprisingly young man named Loki. He runs The Sparrows, the more ruthless of the two. Your probably asking, how in the hell did I, the sheriff's daughter, become a partnering criminal with someone who kills just because he can?
Well, that's what I'm here to tell you. In this time I will dye my hair, gain many tattoos, and pierce multiple parts of my body, all in the process of becoming someone entirely and wholly new. Journey with me through those changes, and I guarantee undeniable excitement and just how dark and evil love really can be.
