Chapter 1

                                                                Chapter 1: New things

Elizabeth was new to almost everything. New to school, new to friends, and new to this town. She never did any thing bad to hurt anyone, no she wouldn't even harm a bug! One day something just ticked and it blew her steam. She walked slowly gripping the heavy bag in her hand as she reached out to grab the lunch. 

"Bye mom, see you soon!"

"Bye honey, have a great first day at school remember to take the after school bus at four o'clock!"

Her mom kept blabbering, but her ears were too closed in, she just wanted to go to school, and know what it feels like to talk to someone. She only ever talked to her mom since her parents were divorced. She finally arrived to the bus stop, the blood rushing through her veins she could just burst of excitement. The bus screeches, it felt like blood would drip out of her ears, she had never heard such a harsh thing. She slowly examined the yellow bus, she puts her soft tender hands on the cold metal railings as she lifted herself off the ground. One, two, three steps, as she looks up and see's a kind looking lady

"Go sit down, we are late."

Not so kind anymore, she pulls up on more to see a bunch of happy faces goofing around and she would love to join in, she took a seat up front next to a boy.

"Sup?"

"Um." She never knew how to talk to anyone but her mom definitely did not use a word such as "sup?"

"I said sup, cat gotcha tongue eh? First day of school, yeah it is hard I wish you luck! So what is your first class?"

"My name is Elizabeth." She blurted out.

"Oh, that is cool, but I asked for your first class, my name is Josh."

"Sorry, my first class is Science, I believe."

"Same here, we have Mrs. Wrotter."

"Is she nice?"

"No, she gives us loads of homework, and on the first day we always have a test."

"She was your teacher before?"

"Yeah last year for 8th grade science."

"That is horrible." The bus came to a stop as Elizabeth jerked forward. Everyone get's up, and Elizabeth looks around, and slowly stands up. 

"Here we are Elizabeth. Welcome to Hell!"

Elizabeth giggles, but she isn't one to curse but she was not going to say anything. Two girls walked up to Elizabeth with wide smiles on their faces.

"Hello I am Katy!" One girl spoke.

"Hiya I am Ashley, but call my Ash!" The other one spoke.

"I am Elizabeth"  She said with a Grin

"Wow, your teeth are so straight! Have you ever had braces?"

Elizabeth examined around most people had  metal things in their mouths. She never had braces, so she really didn't know.

"No, I haven't had braces at all."

"Ugh, you are so lucky I get mine tomorrow, Ash has hers already." 

"Yeah they are a pain!"

"So Liz, I am going to call you that now, Liz what is your first class?"

"Science with Mrs. Wrotter."

"Us too, we have it with Josh!" Ashley gazed up at the sky with love in her eyes.

"Ugh Ash stop! Josh is her boyfriend, and she is so gaga over him."
