Chapter 3: Everything Come Crasing Down.
Two years had passed since she lost her friends, but to her it did not matter she was getting good grades, she was talking to Josh more, and she now lived with her grandma.
"Hey there Lizbugs!"
"Hey Josh." She said running over to give him a hug. He pulled her close and ran his fingers through her hair. He rocked her from side to side, as she giggled. Elizabeth felt a little push as Josh's hands let her go. She gazed over after almost falling face first onto the ground, she saw Ashley from her side eye.
"He is mine you know." She said in the most obnoxious way.
"Isn't that fantastic! I know he is yours. Besides he is just a friend." Elizabeth sarcastically said.
"Girls please." Josh spoke
"I don't want anyone to touch my Joshy." Ashley slowly whispered into Josh's ear making sure Liz was noticing. Elizabeth picked up her bag and said
"You want me to leave your boyfriend alone, fine let it be."
"Lizbug wait!"
"Lizbug? Where is my nickname?" Ashley spoke.
"You know what Ashley, you are only around me now if Elizabeth is with me, just accept it, we are friends, also we need to talk, not at school." Josh walked away following Liz.
"That bi-"
"Hey Ashley.." Katy spoke.
"Oh. Hey Katy."
"Look I am sorry.. Elizabeth meant nothing to me.. I also never used you."
"It's okay we have all made mistakes." Ashley hugged Katy.

Feathers flew around the room, giggling was heard in her room, Josh was over.
"I like your Pjs! They would look better o- on me." He laughed as he smacked Elizabeth with the pillow.
"Haha, yeah sure they would. My pillow is giving birth to so many feathers she said falling on to the couch in her new room."
"Yeah..." He sat right next to putting his arm over her nervously.
"Again, you have a girlfriend who hates me, and I would rather her hate me less than hate me more."
"She doesn't have to know." He said slowly inching closer to her. He slowly pressed his lips to hers, as she did the same. She didn't know what to think, he would always say she was beautiful, and always wanted to hang out with her. She pushed him away.
"I like you a lot."
"If you like me so much then.."
"Break up with my girlfriend?"
"Well, yeah.."
He pulls out his phone and presses a few numbers and dials. The phone is on speaker,
"Hey Joshy!"
"Hey remember when I said we needed to 'talk'?"
"Yeah baby, is it about our 2 year anniversary?"
"No..."
"Then what."
"Well I like.." Elizabeth put her hand over his mouth and moved her head back in forth. She slowly moved back after hearing a voice.
"Hello? Joshy?"
"Yeah what I meant to say was we are done."
"Done with what? Done with the project? You finished it?"
"No Ashley we are done as in breaking up."
Beep, beep, beep. He hung up the phone and slowly looked up.
"I am sorry..." She said.
"It's okay I really didn't like Ashley anymore.." He said, "I think I am going to go now." He reached for his bag, and left her room. Elizabeth made it over to her bed and just laid there and cried. She had ruined everything in her life, she thought she could get Josh with one snap of the finger, but in all reality she couldn't. She gently closed her eyes as one last tear fell.
"Good morning sweetie." Elizabeth heard a soft noise. She quickly opened her eyes.
"Hi grandma."
"Time for school." She said walking out of the room.
Liz slowly rose up still thinking about yesterday, she walked over to her closet and threw on some clothes.

"Hey Lizbugs!"
She looked back and to think Josh hated her.
"Josh?"
"Why do you look so surprised, do I have something on my face?"
"No.." She giggled.
"We got to get to class, hey did you hear about the Winter Ball?" He pointed at a flyer on the wall.
"No, did they just put this up?"
"I don't know." He started walking, Elizabeth was making sure no one saw, she slowly slipped the flyer in her bag, and ran to catch up to Josh.
"Oh I was just wondering where you were..."
"Sorry I was still looking."
'The school ball, oh my gosh I hope he asks me!' She thought in her mind.
"JOSH!" A voice screeched. Elizabeth lost her train of thoughts. Josh stopped in his foot steps.
"Oh god." He muttered.
"Josh, why in the hell did you break up with me?"
"Way to make a scene Ashley!" Elizabeth screamed.
"Stay out this Vampire!"
Elizabeth stepped back she couldn't believe her ex best friend just said that. Katy looked over, and Elizabeth ran to the bathroom, and Katy followed.
"Elizabeth?" Katy wondered where she was, I mean it was a bathroom, how hard could it be to find someone?
"Elizabeth?" Kat heard sniffles. She slowly opened the only stall door that was unlocked.
"Elizabeth?" She asked looking down.
"What, what do you want..?" She asked sniffling.
"I don't think she meant that.."
"Why are you even talking to me anyway?"
"I never said I hated you, you just chose to ignore me."
"Yeah, I am sorry about that, I was just-"
"No it's okay, you were upset.." She said interrupting her, "Come on." Kat said offering her hand to Elizabeth.
"Okay." She took her hand and got up.
Katy and Elizabeth stopped as they notice Josh and Ashley making out by the lockers. Elizabeth had just recovered from crying but she couldn't help herself, fighting back the tears she walked away.
"Get off of me Ashley." Josh pushed her away.
"We are through, done, over. Doesn't that mean anything to you?"
"I thought you were joking silly.. You are asking me to the ball right?"
Josh walked away.
"Ashley, what the hell was that?" Katy asked.
"What?"
"You know what, you are acting just like Alice."
"I haven't notice, well I am pretty, and cool."
"No you are acting like a psycho bitch, who is thirsty, you are so thirsty."
Katy walked away.
